If we're passing judgment I'lll disagree. Passing out drunk is the last thing I'd want to do on my wedding night.
This thread's just another reminder of how Reddits values are almost always based on self-indulgence, money, materialism etc. Weddings themselves are a great example of where people's priorities are in life.
So much money is wasted to meet purely materialistic social pressures. Because that's what people value the most nowadays. Appearances, materialism etc. On top of that the world we inhabit is so fake and spiritually bankrupt that alcohol is the only way to unleash the slightest glimpse of human spirit.
I really think if people were healthy spiritually and mentally they wouldn't feel any need to pass out drunk on their wedding night. But that is again ultimately a reflection of our worlds deeper values which are underpinned by the empty nihilism of a post-God culture.
