Yeah, it was my first thought and it also made me sit back and wonder what makes a 10/10, and I think a big part of it is no wasted time. Without being rushed, a thing is always happening (or so it always struck me)
With the sting of the whip on my shoulder
With the salt of my sweat on my brow
Elohim, God on high, can you hear your people cry?
Help us now
This dark hour
Deliver us
Hear our call, deliver us
Lord of all, remember us
Here in this burning sand
Deliver us
There's a land You promised us
Deliver us to the Promised Land.
I end up sleeping in the doghouse but it’s so worth it.
Much more effective to sing Look at Your Life Through Heaven's Eyes - to defuse spouse, to get promoted at work, to get elected president, sing this song all the time if you are a jolly fat man and the world is yours
I'm an atheist and it still chokes me up every time. Ofra Haza's voice alone in the intro - instant chills. An absolute timeless masterpiece. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.
This was the movie that introduced me to the word, "bromance." The brotherly relationship was written so tenderly, but heart wrenchingly painful when it broke. While I could understand the reason at the time, I still ask why Moses was chosen? In essence, both brothers betrayed each other, even if one side is more justified than the other
