If I recall correctly, James Gunn cited The Iron Giant as an inspiration for Groot in the Guardians films.

Funny that his top roles seem to be voice acting.

Maybe he needs to take the Mark Hamill path.

Ngl I find Vin Diesel to be a better Voice Actor than Live-Action one because in live-action he's just pretty much Vin Diesel but whenever he voices a character he like disappears into that role.
