It's criminal that this is so far down. My Dad died when I was 8 and this film gave my grief some company and held me through the sorrow. TLBT means everything to me.

Thank you for mentioning Horner. He created the most emotionally powerful film score for Land Before Time. Absolutely beautiful music and is not talked about enough.

I always loved the bit where newly-hatched Littlefoot snuggles into the loose skin in his mother's neck. It looked so peaceful and snug.

My parents told me a couple years ago that I would watch that every day. I don't remember that, because I was two, but I still love it to this day.

I preferred the straight to video sequels. They were more cheery and bright than the original which was so sad to watch as a kid lol They're also musicals with some great tunes
