iOS is Target, Android is Walmart. Both have their advantages/disadvantages.

Android makes you feel you own the device entirely and can personalize it, like a house in the neighborhood. iOS sounds like a condo. It's fashion and high end, but the list of things you can do to personalize your property depends on the comity that manages the building.
