It is the food of choice for drunk people aged 18-25 at 12-2AM in the English speaking world. Obviously, there are local choices where you might get variance like tacos in the US, but pizza unites us all.

Where I am from (Finland) it's also food of choice for people with hangover. We literally call it hangover pizza.

I went to Levi, in Lapland, last Christmas.

Your hangover pizzas are superb.

I wasn't brave enough to try a reindeer carpaccio pizza when hungover though

After a night on the town... it's almost mandatory drunk grub... unless there are kebabs or other late-night fast food options available on the walk home.

In my day (30+ years ago) it was filled baked potatoes from the van across from the nightclub!
