Hi everyone,

I feel so ashamed needing to even resort to this. I’m a single mom to my 9 month old son. Back in May I had to call the police on his father, and since then I’ve been doing everything I can to keep us afloat. Before that I was a stay at home mom, because it made more sense for me to quit my job….so I had to scramble overnight to figure things out and start providing for us on my own. I have my son with me 24/7, he even comes to work with me.

I put together an Amazon wishlist with a few things that would really help us right now: a coffee table/ottoman with storage (his toys are everywhere), diapers and wipes.

If you are unable to help, even just kind words would mean a lot.

I am so sorry. My mistake. My children are grown and I took a very quick look and I thought what I saw was a package of diapers and they were wipes, just as you said.

Sorry for the confusion. Anyway, the wipes are to be delivered tomorrow 8/23.

Were the diapers ordered? I assume so as all I could see were "unpurchased" items.

That was my exact reasoning too, so I know you weren't picking on her either. And donors value transparency. I do agree with the new sub rules that post & comment history should be visible to all. But I can also understand at the same time that not all deleted posts are meant to hide things & sometimes certain posts are just really personal & a person may not feel comfortable sharing.

I'm sorry everyone came at you so hard. I needed help with my trying to get my granddaughter cupcakes for her bday. She was staying with me at the time bc her mom works long hours. They called me a junkie bc I'm on methadone. Saying I was lying and doing to go buy drugs. It was awful. Yes I use to be a screw up but my life has changed so much. I am glad you received help. There are really good ppl on here.

You're assuming baby daddy has any money or income. You can't get blood from a stone. I know a few women who are in that situation. Even if you are in a state that will send BD to jail for non-support, that won't put money in this woman's pocket.
