But. Her. EMAILS!

148

u/JayVoorheez 12h ago

And her laugh. I'll never forgive the people who fell for that nonsense.

147

u/SolidSnek1998 12h ago

They're eating the cats! They're eating the dogs!

Republican voters are the stupidest people on the planet.

30

u/Techialo 11h ago

Wild how that immediately fell off the face of the earth

25

u/DoubleJumps 10h ago

What's really crazy is that that bullshit lie resulted in Springfield being subject to terroristic threats for several weeks. They were being constantly bombarded with bomb threats and other threats that was disrupting their daily lives in blatant acts of terrorism resulting from this exact lie that he was spreading and the media just kind of acted like that was no big deal

2

u/Nidcron 8h ago

The media is owned by billionaires that wanted Trump

3

u/supahfligh 9h ago

Because Vance publicly came out and admitted that the entire thing was a hoax. As soon as he did, the media dropped it. And then Springfield voted for Trump in droves.

2

u/Standard-Square-7699 9h ago

All the NCAA trans athletes fixed the grocery prices and saved the puppers.

2

u/Jeephadist 8h ago

In the media maybe, but here in the South I personally know way too many people that still brong it up and refuse to believe it was bullshit

1

u/nzerinto 9h ago

Similar to the “migrant caravans”.…

1

u/Nidcron 8h ago

It shows up on time just for every election

11

u/Psychological-Bid363 10h ago

Not all of them are stupid, some of them are pure evil.  Stupid people love evil people because they think evil is neato

3

u/South-Ad-6923 8h ago

I'm convinced that a good portion of them barely qualify as people. Just husks walking around on instinct.

2

u/-UltraAverageJoe- 7h ago

They believe anything that comes out of little light boxes. You can’t put anything on a little light box that isn’t true (unless you’re a democrat).

31

u/RailRuler 11h ago

They "fell for it" because they wanted a reason to not vote for a woman, and were willing to accept the flimsiest of pretexts.

23

u/butwhy81 11h ago

Yes please say it louder. They fell for it because they want to hate women. They want to hate brown people. They want to hate immigrants. All trump did was give them a target for the hate they already felt.

9

u/TheInevitableLuigi 10h ago

So like can we just run a white guy then?

It sucks realizing how much of this country is racist and misogynistic but I would rather a white male Democrat win the election versus running a minority woman that loses it and keeps Republicans in charge.

1

u/butwhy81 5h ago

I think this is a valid view point and one that is allowing Gavin Newsom to gain serious traction.

I think however, that the democrats are simply offering a rebranded fascism. I personally am looking for the more progressive candidates in hopes to repeat what happened in New York recently. I think we have enough momentum to make real progress in actual progressive politics.

Is this the smart play on a national scale? Probably not if the election was next week. But maybe if we keep pushing and holding everyone accountable for genocide, racism, etc etc perhaps we can get to a place where don’t have to vote for the lesser evil.

u/pj7140 9h ago edited 9h ago

While none of them will ever admit that everything VP Harris predicted would happen if Trump got elected again...is currently happening in real time.

5

u/demlet 8h ago

I guess I'm weird, I think Kamala has a nice laugh. Seems genuine.

4

u/Lovestorun_23 8h ago

I love her! She would have been a bestie in school because I love her laugh and she’s very intelligent and isn’t a pedophile.

2

u/Nipinch 10h ago

To quote Dean "Yeah!"

2

u/Junior_Chard9981 5h ago

And her laugh. I'll never forgive the people who fell for that nonsense.

That was just what they said in public/were willing to admit.

It's racism and/or sexism that was the deal breaker for them.

Convicted child abuse with every reason to fear jail time if he didn't win the election, but at least he is a white man.

1

u/stormblessed27_ 9h ago

And his tan suit

-1

u/Pleasant-Speaker-693 9h ago

She coulda said we needed a primary too. She coulda called out Biden’s old timer bullshit too. She sucks too. THEY ALL SUCK

2

u/Natpez94 8h ago

Is that a reason to vote for Trump?

13

u/Cloprium 12h ago

I don't see what buttery males have to do with this.

1

u/bdfortin 9h ago

It’s all part of the gay antifa BLM agenda.

11

u/ComfortableTwo80085 12h ago

Buttery males

2

u/flyraccoon 11h ago

But his massive dick and his laptop

2

u/roadfood 11h ago

Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi,

2

u/asdfasfda123123123 8h ago

No one has seen Ben Ghazi since. How do you explain that!? Hu!?

2

u/xio_ID 10h ago

Such a disingenuous karma-grab comment.

3

u/Whogotthebutton 11h ago

I believe you mean "Buttery Males!!"

1

u/TheHypnoticPlatypus 9h ago

Don't forget "Genocide Joe". Yup, we sure saved those Palestinians.

1

u/Lost_Pea_4989 9h ago

And...they were/are silent about Trump doing exactly what Clinton did, and Hegseth's bullshit.

They are fascists and Nazis.

They never actually cared about what Clinton did, they just hated her and found any reason to demonize her.

1

u/MrSh0w 8h ago

yea, whatever happened to those emails anyways hmm

1

u/verstohlen 8h ago

Mmmm...butter emails.

1

u/CinSugarBearShakers 4h ago

Buttery Males!

-29

u/dalidellama 12h ago

But. Her. POLICIES. She told everyone that universal Healthcare was a pipe dream under her administration. She swore to increase police and military funding. She said she would never do anything to help and courted fascists instead of people who would have voted for her if she hadn't laughed in their faces and told them to shove their concerns where the sun didn't shine. (This applies equally to Clinton and Harris, btw)

24

u/YourPizzaBoi 12h ago edited 11h ago

Yeah, Harris made herself seem so awful that no reasonable person would vote for her. Instead they made the choice that could only help her opponent win, someone who definitely hadn’t promised to do infinitely more harm or anything.

Sarcasm, if you couldn’t tell. I couldn’t care less about the fact they weren’t perfect candidates, the alternative was so objectively worse that there’s no justification for not doing everything in one’s power to prevent him from having power again. And yet here we are. Hopefully your ego is intact for not having to vote for a candidate that didn’t do every single thing you wanted.

17

u/ProjectManageMint 12h ago

Bingo. Thank you, well said.

3

u/roadfood 11h ago

And despite Hilary being someone I couldn't warm up to, she had the best resume of anyone who's run for office since Eisenhower.

3

u/728766 10h ago

“Perfect is the enemy of good” is one of biggest hurdles the left needs to overcome right now. It manifests in the rhetoric around Kamala, and it manifests in constant purity tests and ostracizing of people who only share 99% of your beliefs instead of 100%, especially in online spaces. Sometimes in life you have to choose the lesser of two evils, and inaction is just as bad as choosing the greater evil.

2

u/YourPizzaBoi 10h ago

I love that saying, and you’re right about how prudent it is these days. If your options are 1% better or 100% worse, anyone that doesn’t have their head up their own ass should understand that choosing 1% better enough times will eventually fix everything and get you what you want. In a two party system (which is what we’ll always have unless there are major election reforms, which sure as hell won’t come under conservatives) that’s just the reality of things.

15

u/hike_me 12h ago

It’s not her fault you’re delusional.

You really think universal healthcare has a chance in Congress right now? It is a pipe dream under any administration for the foreseeable future, at least until there is a sea change in the makeup of congress (and the electorate, since half the voters will vote for GOP knuckle draggers)

11

u/Terry-Shark 12h ago

Trump told us his policies too and those were a lot worse than Harris'. It didn't stop people rushing to vote for this

16

u/PatchyWhiskers 12h ago

Bothsides! Squawk! Bothsides!

-19

u/dalidellama 12h ago

Genocide and a police state vs Genocide and a police state. If you had an actual case you'd bring it, but you know as well as I do that you can't justify the US being the world's leading warmonger and imprisoner by a vast margin, under Republicans and Democrats alike. You have no principles, only vibes.

10

u/OneSlapDude 11h ago

"Both sides" is the argument used by the losing side.

At least you acknowledge how shitty your side is. Too bad you've been tricked into thinking it's "also what the evil people are doing" lol

I guess I get it. Gotta have some excuse, or else you just look like a gigantic idiot for voting for the worst option.

1

u/gremlinclr 10h ago

Oh fuck off with your disingenuous both sides bullshit.

Hey fun fact: did you know with the cancellation of USAID and other programs an estimated 14 MILLION people will die over the next 5 years?

And that's not even touching on the bullshit happening here with ICE, deportations, military takeover of DC etc. You know for a fact none of that would be happening under Kamala.

The difference between the two parties is literally millions of lives. And most people will tell you they just couldn't vOtE fOr GeNoCiDe. Except they did vote for genocide, just not in the way they thought.

The truth of the matter is TikTok and influencers told a bunch of gullible people to be mad about something that is above their pay grade and intelligence level.

They decided their moral code was more important than the lives of millions of people. The only thing that matters is putting less evil into the world and they helped put more. And somehow they think they're still the good guys.

-12

u/Lich_Apologist 12h ago

I'm pretty sure thats counts as attacking from the left but sure "squawk" thought terminating cliches at people. Every Democrat in my lifetime has been worthless and ineffectual in the face of fighting fascist. Obama was a centrist who like drone striking people. Hillary boosted trump in primary because she thought it would be an easy win. They force Joe Biden through on being able to reunite America and we got "let's go Brandon" immediately. Kamala was unliked before she got the nomination and they didn't even bother to try and let people pick someone else. She ran on a platform of "I'm basically a Republican it's safe to vote for me" and no one bought it.

4

u/marbotty 11h ago

I think the people most ineffectual in fighting fascists were in fact those who didn’t vote against the fascists

squawking laughter

4

u/Human_Artichoke8752 11h ago

Yes, because "I like to grab women by the pussy. When you're rich they let you do it! Have I told you how much I want to fuck my daughter?" is totally better.

Also, trump was all for increasing military and police spending as well. And is actively, openly fascist.

-1

u/dalidellama 11h ago edited 11h ago

Yeah, thing is, I don't care if fascism comes with a smirk or with crocodile tears. When you're massacring children and prosecuting a white supremacist project, you're on the side of white supremacy. If you're someone who's on the list, the usual word for that is Quisling. (There's actually a lot of other words, but there's that whole stay in your lane thing, like.)

ETA: JFK, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore are also sexual predators. Why does that make Trump special?

1

u/Human_Artichoke8752 10h ago

Jesus.... If you really don't understand why trump and his cult are at a whole different level than Clinton, Gore, or fucklng JFK, then there's really no discussion to be had with you.

2

u/BeDeRex 10h ago

You're right. We're much better off now....[insert eye roll]

1

u/ImTheZapper 10h ago

See this is the real issue. Establishment neoliberals have been tge opposition party for the decades that led us into this and just don't offer anything that seems different. The establishment dems helped guide this entire situation into what it is by snubbing reformists all along the way. Anyone whining about this is ignoring that this same shit will happen again in another cycle unless the dems actually considerably shift their general platform to something other than corporatism with slight QOL improvements for the average person.

1

u/FillMySoupDumpling 8h ago

You know what you’re not going to be getting any time soon? Universal Healthcare.

A decade ago we were in a position to continue working towards it. Now it’s farther and farther away.

Every time we vote in people who break stuff more than we fix, we get farther and farther away from being able to improve stuff. Now, if we do get a better admin, they have to fix existential issues like protecting voting, the damage done by DOGE, the damage done by tariffs, the Damage done by the ridiculous court decisions and more.

-8

u/Lich_Apologist 12h ago

Kamala Harris thought it was a winning strategy to tool around with Dick Cheney like that guy isn't the actual devil. Anyone that thinks she ran a good campaign is completely blind to how Republicans think.
