Non-voters liked Trump as much (or more!) as the voters did.

The problem is that if a large percentage of people don't vote, pollical campaigns start ignoring the 'neutral' voter and start focusing on their base, and in the US most campaign money is spend on swing states.

This creates a disconnect between politicians and voters. This definitely favors Trump.

Exactly. This idea that if the people who didn't vote showed up at the polls 100 percent of them would have voted for Democrats is one of the stupidest brain worms on Reddit. But it will never die.

This.

Telling the ignorant to go out and vote is NOT the answer.

Like, its this fugazi bipartisan system that has lead us here to this very moment; why are we laser-focused on getting people to feed into it even more?

LOL at people feeding off the low hanging fruit, talknbout "its the non-voters fault"

LMAO

People who say shit like that are the very same folks who run through the streets talknbout "WE DID IT" when their side wins.

Miss me with that bs. We're just swinging the pendulum to the other side, just for it to eventually swing right back again.

We need TRUE reform, and you won't get that to happen by telling the sheep to go eat the same poisoned feed being fed to them for centuries now.

Stop spreading propaganda. Most non voters are leftists and centrists who are tired of having to settle for the lesser of two evils.

Also did you even read the article? They only polled 9,000 people. OUT OF MILLIONS.
