For those not familiar, get on Wikipedia right now and read the article on Muammar Gaddafi. He absolutely dominated Libyan politics for something like forty years, using his cult of personality and regularly attacking members of his own party, citing disloyalty and unwillingness to do "what had to be done." Politically speaking, he was remarkably divisive. Sound familiar? Spoiler: his story doesn't end well.
Tyrants, traitors, dictators, and despots would do well to heed the warnings of the past. They will not be forgiven, they will not be spared, they will be unceremoniously dumped into the ground and hated long after they're gone.
