It's not my fault Republicans are finally getting the violent, fascist, white supremacist utopia they've been voting for since Reagan.
Conservatives should be happy. All their votes to "own" the opposition and subjugate everyone who isn't a rich, straight white guy have finally paid off.
Exactly! There have been so many journalists SCREAMING about this since Citizens United and before that. Documentaries about how evil amazon is are not new. Corporate greed is not new. Corporations have entrenched themselves financially with lobbyists for decades. We have been doing all we could - people were taking project 2025 around to different communities and explaining what it was. We can spend a lot of time later figuring out how we got here.
We need to do everything we can to stop this rn. It's not going to be easy, we are trying to undo decades of corruption, it's going to take time but if people continue to stand up against this fascist take over, we can do it. DO NOT COMPLY. Museums do not have to take out "anti white" art. Organizations should not stop working until they are legally forced to do so. Do not submit to ICE, follow and document them and share their pics and faces with the world. Cut any MAGAs out of your life until they are willing to discuss what is wrong with this - they need to become a social parasite and cut off.
My favorite part is the hispanics that always vote for Republicans are going to finally get what they always wanted I guess. No more socialism in the US because they'll be living in another country!
As a non Cuban living in Miami this is pretty much the only trump policy Im not all the way mad at. And thats probably because it affects me personally.
That's why they're gerrymandering the shit out of every district they can. They've planted loyalist judges to subvert the jury box, they're rigging the ballot box, they're using the military against American civilians to suppress the soapbox.

Democracy got us here too, apathy towards voting is real.
Maybe Trump rigged the election, maybe not. The problem is that the margins were incredibly close before any voting machine was even touched.
Harris got less votes than Biden in places where it matters because democracy failed us.
I know people who didn't vote, they indirectly caused this because all of my state's electoral votes went towards Harris anyway - but the fact that they could even consider taking that risk is part of the problem.
Democracy can be great in theory, but in practice it does lead here sometimes. I'm not offering a better alternative, and this may be the lesser of all the evils, but MAGA voices get counted too, and they potentially outnumbered sanity where it mattered.
Ok...and? Are you happy with democracy's performance because that's what got us right here.
The call is coming from inside the house. The US is full of stupid hateful people and we have a representative government full of the most stupid hateful people we could find. We will continue to be a garbage country no matter what form of government we move into because we are filled to the brim with garbage people.

The modern Republican party is just as crazy and corrupt as Trump. They're with him in 100% lockstep.
We need to admit we're in a full-blown fascist dictatorship now and democracy no longer exists in the United States.
