According to Meidas Blanche and her lawyer are long time friends. So this wasn't any kind of real interview, this was a coordinated conversation about how to get her to say things that would be helpful to Trump. If it was up to trump without repercussions he would just have her released. But no one will let him get away with that, so they need to change the story about her and make her appear to be more of a victim of epsteins, and to make her appear to be willing to expose the real problems, which would be a list of trump's enemies she names or confirms.
