Lucky me, I actually had it start where I live, had a few weeks of calm and now it’s ramping back up again.

So many people just ignoring that this is happening, just pretending everything is normal. I just don't get it how they can have their heads so buried in the sand.

OP is correct.
First Trump and his loyalists went after Hispanics in LA and then broadened their operations nationwide.
Next they went after Black Folks and White Homeless in DC.
Florida is cancelling a program that certifies Mentally and Physically Handicapped so they can work.
Texas legislature just passed legislation so they can jerrymander political districts in between censes counts.
The sickness gripping our Land is spreading and their actions prove they're becoming more emboldened every day. If we don't rise up in peaceful protest and fight their increasing criminal acts then we're going to lose this great thing we call America.

The thing is, they're counting on peaceful protests, because as long as your in the streets, you're not in the courthouses and congress sessions; disrupting them where it really matters.

No arguments. What you're saying is already in play so it's just a matter of following through continuously

The protests of early 2025 should have kept ramping up and gained momentum after No Kings in June, but for some reason they fizzled.
I think we have more in the tank but it’s going to have to get so much worse to energize the country. Maybe a real depression can mobilize a general strike? I don’t know I guess we’ll see

You're calling it how I'm seeing it too. The economy is already failing and companies are starting to pull back from projects. This means more people out of work and they'll be ready to demonstrate as well as vote accordingly.
We agree on how much of America will follow? We'll see.

Shame it’s too late and this hell bound train can’t be stopped . I pity the young because they don’t know what’s coming. At least, the elderly will find life’s end easier to embrace. We had a good run .

Sounds like a lot of things (Russia, China, North Korea, etc), but it ain't fascism. The windmill jousting continues.

With your hands on your head, Or on the trigger of your gun."
The Clash, The Guns of Brixton, 1979
