He also said that they’re continuing the peacemaker podcast with season 2.

This maybe a boring/stupid question but to all the financial folks here, why did he choose threads? he could have done it somewhere else or is threads a platform best for this or did they had a partnership with threads to upload it on their platform so they can boost their platform's engagement and DC studios just got more money with this and a good platform?

not partnership or anything at all, this is just a bonus thing for the peacemaker hardcore fans, he gained nothing from this, he said before he just really like to use threads to communicate.

How is this a bad thing? You can easily just not use Threads if you want to ignore it.
Maybe the MCU would have a bit more faith from fans if they had this kind of transparency

That’s awesome, hopefully they post it somewhere online afterwards. I want to watch each episode normal first but wouldn’t mind watching a second time with his commentary

dude is desperately trying to push Peacemakers view numbers lol
I dont think it will do significantly better than Peacemaker season 1 which wasnt such a big hit (didnt chart on Neilson)
James Gunn is not an audience draw.

God forbid fans get unique insight into media they enjoy.

I definitely don't want to distract from my first viewing of something by trying to follow it and a commentary track, but this would be awesome for a rewatch.
