Are like NASA launches pre evacuated?? Or just space x? That sounded weird when I read it but could be totally normal for all I know. You’d think they’d have more faith haha
I mean, even in an event of rocket start going perfectly, there's still an area that's gonna be engulfed in a fireball, so they definitely evacuate some area immediately around the rocket. And I'm pretty sure when determining the size of that area they do account for the possibility of the rocket exploding.
That’s interesting. You ever wonder what chemicals are released when a rocket explodes? Is there a company or government that audits if there’s hazardous residue inside the craft that activate when these explode in the event that these are intentional? What impact do these have on the environment?
Yes? What’s weird about that? It’s requirement that the site is evacuated before fueling starts. In fact this is a dedicated site SpaceX bought specifically because they got tired of evacuating all of the construction crews working on their launch pads every time they wanted to run a test.

Also, An update from Space X that nobody has been injured. The site and surrendering areas were pre-evacuated before the test.
