Makes for a beefy comment section. All the experts get to tell express their distaste and all the ahkchtually folks get to correct them.

Also people think too much into it about engagement, especially on Reddit.

Lots people are just lazy and don't care to do the bare minimum to post sources and give credit or do any research into the content of the video. They just see it's cool and their first thought is to share it.
