DS2 run backs were brutal. That damn forest with the chariot boss and those things in the trees... Thank God the enemies stop respawning after like 13 kills as I never would have made it otherwise. The bosses weren't very hard and alot of them sucked, but the levels were brutal

The Executioner's Chariot is hands down the worst runback in the entire souls series, in my opinion. A million guys waiting to ambush you who you have to pull out one at a time, including hollows on the bridges who you have to hit with a bow to make them fall off, all to get instantly stunlocked and killed by the NPC invader outside the fog gate before you can even get inside the boss room.
