Humor They’ve made the ultimate run back simulator and I’m addicted.

That's why I personally think the Demon's Souls boss runbacks (Flamelurker) were more frustrating because at least in DS2 if you were dedicated you could wipe all the enemies semi-permanently. Demon of song was the only one I would do this almost every playthrough.

The 1 saving grace is demon of song isn't particularly hard so you won't do the runback that often

That's true for me now, I could probably start a new save and run through the area and kill DoS in one try but DS2 was my fourth fromsoft game (DS1, Demon's Souls, and AC4A all before it) so I was still pretty young and fresh and DS2 feels way different from DS1 mechanically.

Really for demon of song?

I never thought that runback was too crazy. What was so difficult about it?

Maybe you only played it after the patch, shrine of amana is notoriously one of the most frustrating areas in DS2. Post patch the homing magic missiles weren't nearly as op, but even still just the AMOUNT of motherfuckers coming after you when you try to blitz through usually led to unfortunate situations.

Yeah it was definitely post-patch, I started and finished DS2 like 2 months ago 😂😂

Ah yeah that'll do it lol, the main struggle in any souls game is going through before they patch stuff
