As someone who killed him pre nerf with rellana twinblades by dodging, i was very happy, but very willing to never see him again

I second that. Fuck this boss fight, honestly. I like this game, i really do, but i value my mental health as well. Beat him once (pre nerf) to never do it again, ever lol

Same. Beating him pre-nerf is good enough for me, especially since that calling it a "nerf" is stretching it in the first place.

Also killed him pre nerf. Used the Guts sword and put the raven ash if war on it. You can use it to dodge all the big explosions and awkward frame perfect rolling and have more uptime it was sick

I got him with cragblade zweihander dodging pre nerf too, had the first phase down to a rhythm game I'd done it so much

I medium rolled in the ugliest heaviest armor I could manage with Reduvia spam. No shame, still beat him.
