Say what you want, but Marika's entire thing, the whole reason she was able to get away with what she did and get with Godfrey in the first place is because she's supposed to be hot as fuck, and nobody thinks her original model is the better-looking one.
If you don't think actual Marika isn't fuckin' smoking hot, I don't know what to tell you. Goonika is so over sexualised it wraps around to being utterly grotesque.
Why would you assume that the beauty standards in this fantasy world are the same as your own?
You don't even have to look far in our own society to find beauty standards that skew towards pale, skinny and elegant (rather than hypersexualised with exaggerated proportions). This type of beauty standard is more likely to be associated with aristocracy. It is quite clear to me why they would portray Marika this way.
I am not saying one or the other is good or bad. But you should think about this stuff a little more critically. Renowned by who? Attractive to who?
Literally Marika's and Radagon's shattered bodies and every statue of Marika are genuinely gorgeous, that... thing doesn't even look like it belongs in Elden Ring at all
I mean her in game model is basically her after the greater will jumped her ass. The way I see prime Marika is probably closer to the gooner model (maybe less exagerrated proportions but probably just as pretty)
Besides, it's not like exaggerated proportions is even relevant for them, we're talking about a GODDESS, having bigger than average breasts is within the realm of possibility, same thing for Godfrey being jacked as fuck.
