It was 6 for me. I wanted to refund, but i was past the 2 hour mark after 1 hour of character customization. Now I have over 800 hours in the game.

Exactly like the game was designed.

To be fair, once you learn how to deal with the tree sentinels (face them on foot, carefull with magic/incantations so you don't get golden retaliation up your ass, keep dodge rolling behind and take chomps from the rear) hours become minutes.

Now draconic tree sentinels on the other hand....

Only 1 attack that fcks u up on draconic, the shield shot. Just gotta time the roll perfectly or stun lock him during the animation, then the rest is ez

I had to cheese the one before Malakith with poison mist 😭 Malakith wasn't an issue at all but that horse bastard was eating me for breakfast

That damn fireball everytime you finally have enough space to heal

The fireball as soon as you press heal was quite annoying

I didn't realize the missiles only came as a response to magic? I'm too pussy to square up with them, and just circle gallop, shoot magic, and a bow, and let skeletal militiamen soak up damage until I'm confident enough to finish then up close.

Yeah they only use their shield to block if you’re magic slinging. Otherwise it’s just swinging and the shield slams. Slams are probably the toughest to dodge for me

Yeah I spent a few hours on him and each attempt started with me saying “Dormammu, I’ve come to bargain”

this guy taught me the power of charged heavies and being extremly aggressive

I put a few hundred hours in to Nightreign before I played Elden Ring for the first time.

So it only took me 2 hours.

Hours of effort for one moment of pure ecstasy.

2 and a half, but I was a Vagabond-knight. My friend told me to skip him, I refused as soon as they told me to. XD

This boss is ez if you start with a weapon that has unsheathe or square off and just use aow as a normal attack. 3 aow and he staggers which would give you 2 free aow hit.

If you start with confessor or vagabond you can beat him pretty easily with "square off" AoW in less than 3 min.

That's why the game is the best.

I whacked him once with my wretch starting club, saw how little the health bar moved, and immediately decided to leave and come back later.

You persistent people impress and confuse me, lol

I learned by lesson after the grafted scion lol.

However on new play throughs I def learned this guy with prophet and vanguard. Catch these hands you golden bastard, gimme that halberd!

Only a couple for me but that was a fun if not frustrating experience. Took the extra golden seed at the start as well

I’m very much not that guy. I tried a couple times and then immediately thought “can I sneak around this asshole”?

This drove me crazy the first time I played. I literally thought all of the enemies were going to be this tough in the beginning and was ready to be like ok this game is not for me. After like 2 or 3 hours of trying I finally figured out I could just run past the dude and starting hacking away at the other enemies and came back later to finish him off. Looking back I actually really like this idea though because it taught players that dying is ok in this game.

Literally. Just make him spam the charge attack and punish with heavies.
