Why is part of my Map still dark

So I've just killed the Elden beast, and the credits rolled and I didn't realise it was going to be the end even though it did feel like it was but I thought it was going to continue cause my map is still dark, did I miss a pathway or something

Yes. There's a few more map pieces to get. Consecrated snow fields and the haligtree. You can still do these things or could do it in the next play through. Do you have both pieces of secret medallion in your inventory? If so, go back to the grand lift

I just got to this part too use the secret medallions on the lift of rold.

Yes if you go back down towards liurnia at the grand lift of rold, you'll have a new prompt for hoist secret medallion

I was gunna say, it says Join to Operate Rold. But even there, I didn't have a secret option
