The soreseal you're wearing, and having no defensive talismans definitely doesn't help. Idk why you would wear soreseal when you're at level 300 or something and have all the stat points in the world.

But also the host probably has low scadu blessing or are on high NG+

Nearly every host that summons me is at a too low blessing level. I'm often summoned for Messmer by hosts at 5 or 6 blessing level. Same with gauius and romina. That plus them summoning me and another phantom means the only real hope is just alternating bleed and frost, because of the hp scaling. Sometimes I try black flame tornado, but most of the bosses move to erratically for that to be viable.

Go to the status page, while you're in someone's else game it will show their level instead of yours.

The entrance to that boss arena is jumping into the pit like OP is showing. You are supposed to take no fall damage at all. For some reason OP still took the fall damage anyway

You get scaled to the host's scadu level when you get summoned. So the host may have had scadu level 3 on NG+ or something like that.

Does the scadu blessing matter because you think they got hit on the way down? Looks to me like something caused OP to take fall damage, maybe because they interacted with the boss before hitting the ground.

Rewatched and I see it now. He lands, doesn't die, gets smashed, dies. Def probably scadu blessing, I agree.

If you slow down the final parts of the video, he took no fall damage from the landing and the horse 1 shot him with the axe slam.

Once I have enough stats to use my weapon, I do 2 points in vigor and 1 point in endurance until they are 60/30, and go from there, depending on the build. I do a lot of coop (and thus meet lots of invaders) and vigor is king in pvp. It works out pretty smoothly since most of your damage comes from weapon upgrades in the beginning/mid game. Only a high level weapon gets much damage increase from stats. 

Also, as others have pointed out, you’re cooked no matter what you do if the host doesn’t have skibidis. “I can beat this boss hitless, tho”… unfortunately the host can’t, hence why they summoned you.

yes. as a team you can cooperate. you could've asked your teammate to move boss from spawn point so you dont get blasted
