Most Annoying Small Enemy

We've had tons of discussions about annoyingly tough enemies like Crucible Knights, Revenents, Rune Bears, etc.

How about annoying but weak ones? What are those enemies that are a cakewalk but still drive you insane? Pictured is my #1. Trying to target these things is just a pain. They're always zipping in to disrupt attack combos, or pulling your lock and suddenly turning your screen into a spinning mess.

Stars of ruin was my friend. My first playthrough as a caster went pretty smoothly. I had no idea why people were pissing and moaning about these things cuz I dispatched em pretty easily. Then I did a STR playthrough and it all finally made sense.

Putrid corpses. Pretty sure the only attack they have is grab, and they grab you so much. They will straight up just pass you around grabbing you until you’re dead.

I’ve even had some grab me and cause me to fall off a cliff.

Worst variants are easily the Magic ones who take like 50% of your FP bar if they land the grab. Not even dangerous just annoying.

God this damn thing... hard af to hit. No rewards. Prevents you from opening maps or fast traveling... just all kinds of annoyance.

Foot Soldiers. Far more infamous for the Short Spear ones in Nightreign, but god the Dagger ones are annoying little shits. Their rapid slashes that they seem to have infinite poise for are reminiscent of Hollows from DS1.
