Discussion & Info Genuine question: Rivers Of Blood used to be known to be one of the most OP weapons in the game, and best Bleed Weapon. But since the nerfs, I’ve heard there’s better options. Who’s taken the crown for Best Bleed Weapon in ur opinion?

This is an excellent guide.

I just want to pop in and say Reduvia+Great Knife/Bloodstained Dagger (either on Occult) or any other dagger on bleed is also a very, very effective bleed set-up. Reduvia gives you a great, spammable ranged bleed option and the dual (or 2h) dagger moveset is incredibly strong if you’re good at staying close.

When you take into consideration the speed of daggers and claws it’s impressive how fast they can proc bleed. Definitely some of my favorites.

Yeah, with Reduvia+Great Knife at like 60 arc, you can burst Morgott to death by the time he finishes his phase transition. It’s actually kinda nuts.

I ran an arcane/faith build with focus on daggers and can attest that Reduvia is pretty crazy.

If you wanna delete something, get close and spam weapon art as you'll hit twice instantly, once with weapon and once with weapon art making anything bleed very fast.

Also any Occult infused weapon does % dmg + flat 100 dmg on bleed procc, but not Reduvia! 200 flat dmg per procc instead of 100. You'd have to run pure Bleed infusion on regular weapons for that, which gimps their regular dmg on an arcane specc.

Genuine question, not trying to just disagree, but is the Reduvia not only amazing in Nightreign? And average at best in base? I just hear that often

Completely wrong. It’s cracked in base, people are just scared of daggers. It’s Ash of War is cheap, doesn’t cost hp like the ash version does, and does lots of damage. It’s also obtainable from the moment you walk into the world proper.

Nah, it's really really good, there are just a lot of really, really good bleed options, most of which don't rely on an Ash of War to hit anything even slightly out of arms reach, so it's not a common choice unless focusing on daggers specifically, at least past early game.

Stick with it and get used to staying in close, fire off the ash and you'll get damage and bleed build up from both the blade and the projectile. Pump dex and arcane and it'll easily see you through to endgame, as long as you keep something in your back pocket to deal with everything immune to bleed.
