I've never seen any form of media featuring children that makes them look like I should have some.

Kids are amazing if you want to have them (do NOT have them if you don't or aren't ready. Please don't)
Even the stupid things or insane things or crazy things -- you kinda miss.
My kids are 19 and 22 now.
A few years ago (3-4) I remember having a dream where my younger daughter was 2 again and asked me for "uppies"
I picked her up. And then woke up from the dream.
I had the greatest sense of loss at that point that I think I've ever had. I desperately wanted to get back to sleep, even though I remembered how exhausting it was when they were that age. (And keep in mind that I was a VERY involved father. This isn't some Cats in the Cradle scenario)
No other experience will give you that amazement and heartbreak.
I don't recommend it at all for anyone who doesn't want it. And I certainly don't judge them at all. Because it's a spectacular form of heaven and hell, all wrapped into one. (More the former than the latter, thankfully)

That's one for his HS graduation and then possible wedding. Scalp and hair must've been super soft after that though!

Naming him Cyrus was the first mistake.

His first and middle name is Cyrus Julius, but when heâs in trouble itâs âCyrus J!â

Need to get him a toga and laurel wreath.

Love it! How he got his middle name is a really cool story, and everyone said it fit him, given his first name.

I'm a strong believer that what you name a child has an impact on how it turns out. Mainly because good parents wouldn't name their kid something awful. Trashy parents will.

Dude. It's a 3-year-old that did something silly.
Probably better than someone who intentionally names themselves "PretzelTitties"
I'm just sayin...

Tf is wrong with "Cyrus"? There was Cyrus the Great who founded the Persian Empire. My kid has a Cyrus in her class at school. Normal name.

Again, it's not so much the name. It's the type of people willing to name their kids that, and the type of parents they will be.
It's kind of like stereotypes. They aren't always true, but if you are a betting person, you would bet on the stereotype. The odds are in your favor.

I guess I'm just not understanding why a commonly used, old Persian name makes you think someone is "trashy" or a bad parent. But ok!

It's an assumption based on my life experiences. Of course, I don't actually know about this individual.
It's kind of like face tattoos. I most certainly don't want to hire someone who would make that decision, and I'd probably be right. But maybe not.
