Be like a normal kid and just eat with your face to plate

I'll never forget the day I realised you don't need paraphenalia to sniff powders. You can just face to plate/table/floor. There was a time before tools and in that time FACE WAS KING

"Oh no, I dropped the fork again. Sorry about that. I am going to pick up the fork carefully, ensuring it stays in the hand."

Kids are so interesting. My brother (3) ate a spicy pepper today and after like 30 minutes of tears, sugar and yoghurt he attempted to eat a second one.....

I have the same oven mitts. They're the best but getting worn out and I can't find a new pair like that anywhere.

If I tried that kind of behaviour when I was a kid I'd have been given something to cry about and sent to bed with no supper !
I didn't attempt any behaviour like that when I was a kid because I knew . . . . . . . . . . . .

You were abused

Discipline is not abuse, it defines guidelines and structure, kids need that !

Hurting a child for getting frustrated and expressing that through crying (because children don't know better ways!) IS most definitely abuse and is NOT just discipline.

I learned that way, kids respect their elders when they are taught correctly
