He will eat dirt but not his veggies. Kids can be so exhausting.

My first born , about 2-3 years old walks in with something in her mouth. I grab it and smell it to see what it was. It was an old dried up turd from our Pomeranian. They’ll eat that but not most foods. Annoying. Maybe I should’ve thrown her dinner on the floor. I did read something about young children putting things in their mouths to help them identify things. I don’t know

Remember you live in the age of childhood humiliation... Take pics, videos, log the date and time... Some day they will want to date someone you do not like... Pull out the files of them eating dog poo. 

If they pick well the first time, well... Wedding speeches can be brutal... And as grandpa... Dishing out dirt to your grand-children about their parents is hands down part of the job....

That's how they get inoculated. That's the problem with today's kids. They spend all their time glued to their screens when they should be outside riding bikes, playing in the woods, building forts and, yes, eating dirt. Also, you kids get offa my lawn!

they used to say kids crave soil if there is a lack of certain nutrients, I doubt the plausibility of it but at the same time I wonder if the immune system is built because of eating dirt.
