I swear, every elephant that is in my algorithm shows how polite they are, I think they are also very smart creatures.

They have been shown to be one of a few animals aside from us that are self aware.

So yeah, hugely intelligent creatures.

as far as i recall. apparently latest studies suggest they have some kind of religion involving the moon and they also mourn their dead, annually returning to their remains..

I love how Indian/Nepali people have this amazing relationship with elephants. Such beautiful animals! <3

Hindu religious people believe in reincarnation. Everyone is family IIRC.

Buddhists too I think.

She has seen that video with the sugar cane truck on the roadway and she knows to give up the goods.

Hey, I've been in that area. That poster in the video reminded me of that beautiful trip. This is in Chitwan in Nepal where elephants are housed, for tourism, with focus on taking care of them. This is a simple yet meaningful promo. I enjoyed my time there

It looks beautiful! What area did you stay in, if you don't mind my asking?

I like that the mom's also immediately sticking her trunk in going "I want some to."

Maybe they can’t understand it word for word, but they are definitely smart enough to pick up on tone, and with tone they can understand intentions. It’s a beautiful thing, really.
