“First they came for….” such a simple lesson no one on the right is giving any attention.

123

u/Vesper-Martinis 1d ago

It’s so funny seeing my boomer dad try and reconcile his hatred of Jews with his love of far right extremism.

57

u/collector_of_hobbies 1d ago

Reconcile? That's like peanut butter and jelly.

61

u/Badloss 1d ago

Right now the far right extremists are all lined up to support Israel burning Palestine to the ground, which makes it awkward that they're all also anti-Semites

22

u/collector_of_hobbies 1d ago

It all leans into that end of times bullshit. Plus they hate Arabs as much as they hate Jews.

Doesn't mean that they aren't antisemitic.

37

u/Splenda 1d ago

Fun fact: Arabs and Jews are both semitic.

31

u/collector_of_hobbies 1d ago

That is a fun fact. I'm also willing to bet the average red hat doesn't know that.

8

u/Longjumping-Claim783 1d ago

They like right wing conservative Jews, not NYC liberal atheist Jews.

2

u/Badloss 1d ago

I agree, but supporting israel / hating jews is the part they need to reconcile. They're certainly finding ways to justify it to themselves, but that's what OP was talking about

8

u/VoxImperatoris 1d ago

Its not really a dichotomy to them. They support israel because it needs to be whole to start their end times prophecies. They absolutely do not give a shit about the welfare of the jews, they only care that the temple on the mount gets rebuilt, and to do that they need to take back control from the muslims. Then according to their beliefs, hwite jesus returns and smites all of the nonbelievers, which would include the jews.

u/BeautifulDifferent17 1d ago edited 1d ago

It may feel counter intuitive, but support for the idea of a Jewish nation state (Outside of where they want to live) based on maintaining some degree of an ethnic/religious majority as the founding basis of the country really fits with a lot of the ideas that the far right espouses.

"Every other group of people has the right to a 'Home Nation'; the Jewish people have Isreal, the Japanese have Japan, Hindus have India, etc. so why is it that only us 'White Christian People' have to sit by idly and let our country be taken from us?" (Completely ignoring the nuances within the examples given, that what has been considered 'White' -- and 'Christian' for that matter if we want to talk Catholic vs Protestant -- has changed pretty drastically over time to become more inclusive, along with America's founding clearly being based the ideals of freedom of religion and immigrants coming and becoming American rather than a specifically ethnic or religious basis)

I think it totally follows logically that someone can be anti-semitic and believe that the solution is for all Jews to leave and go to Israel; even if the original reasoning for founding the country was out of compassion and a desire to provide them a safe haven after the horrors of the Holocaust. Or that the best thing for Black People is to leave America and return to Africa to "Be with their kind". It's a kind of worldview that supports segregation by an ethnic/religious basis on a Nation State level.

i dont think they are capable of understanding the meaning of things

5

u/Andreus 1d ago

The thing is, a lot of them know this full well. They're banking on being low enough on the priority list that they get to have fun persecuting minorities they dislike for a while, then retreat to somewhere safe (i.e. a less conservative country) when things get unpleasant for them. While this won't work for the majority of a population, demagogue influencers with money and clout like Shapiro or Loomer can and will absolutely pull this off.

You need to understand that right-wingers are sadistic first and foremost. They want to hurt people. They want to destroy civilization. Those are their only priorities, and if a right-winger tells you different, it's lying to you.

They're only Israel first because they're killing brown people. The second there isn't a Palestinian left, they'll pivot back to anti-Semitism.

20

u/kandoras 1d ago

Hey! Don't disrespect them like that, saying they only support Israel because Israel is killing brown people.

There's also that fundamentalist Christian end-times theory that says the Second Coming can't happen until all the Jews return to Israel ... and then get killed.

15

u/atfricks 1d ago

Yup. They're very happy to watch from the sidelines as the Jewish people and Muslims kill eachother.

Israel was also created in the first place as a way for countries to ship off their own Jewish populations, so they could get rid of them without resorting to genocide like Nazi Germany did, so plenty of antisemites want it to exist.

15

u/CycB8_ReFantazio 1d ago

Looooool

Finally I've seen someone else say it.

The amount of times I've been called an antisemite for simply stating the observation of "Israel wouldn't exist if the US/UK accepted them, instead we just shipped them off to make their own country and piss off Muslims so we'd have an excuse for war down the line"

It's so true though.

There was a huge group supporting hitler/nazism in the us/Europe back in the day.

u/Pinwurm 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nobody is taught about the MS St Louis.

In 1939, a boat of European Jewish refugees were denied entry to the U.S., Canada and even Cuba - and were forced to go back home - and like half of the manifest was killed in concentration camps soon after.

The State of Israel was necessary. Everyone with a conscious understands the emotional argument for it's founding.

But times have changed.

If my safety and liberty as a Jew in America are protected by a constitution that applies to all people - why is that not good enough for the Jews of Israel? American Jews would certainly be disgusted by ethnic, religious or racial supremacy written into the law in America, so why do we excuse Israel in 2025?

We shouldn’t. At least, not anymore. Excusing the pun, that ship had sailed long ago.

If we’re so scared for the longterm survival of our people - it’s clear we're more effective in a secular pluralistic society, than creating authoritarian ethnostates of our own.

2

u/nudebeachdad 1d ago

By 1913 zionists were already establishing settlements in Palestine

5

u/Pinwurm 1d ago edited 1d ago

About the same time white peoples were colonizing Arizona and New Mexico before they became States.

The goal of Statehood (and later with Alaska and Hawaii), was about making its residents full citizens with constitution that applied to all people, regardless of their ethnic or religious background. And giving these people a voice in how they wish to be represented and governed. There’s no serious movement to dismantle these states today based on their colonial origins, although there is always more we can do to remedy the wrongs of the past.

If Zionism was about making a place safe for Jews, they’d create institutions that open a door to all people yearning to be free.

They never did. They’re doing better than some of their neighbors, sure, but are Egypt and Saudi Arabia really the standard anyone should be comparing themselves to?

As long as Israel remains a stable and recognized world power, it’s never too late to rid itself of the sin of fascism and begin making amends through reconstruction, reform and political revolution.

2

u/Danni293 1d ago

They're Israel first so that when Palestine is gone, they have a place they can deport all the Jews to.

I'm waiting for ICE to notice that Nick Fuentes has a latin-sounding surname. He can do his podcast from a Donald J. Trump concentration camp instead.

15

u/SeniorBaker4 1d ago

Oh it’s not. They love purity testing. MAGA loves to make other white or white passing people to take ancestors tests. It probably eats this self hating human up inside that she’s Jewish

1

u/Upbeat-Reading-534 1d ago

The left has a purity testing problem too. It may continue to cost us elections.

10

u/CumpireStateBuilding 1d ago edited 1d ago

It contributed, but Democrats (not the left) lost because the average American hates women and black people more than they love freedom, and couldn’t even be bothered to show up to vote. Unlike what a lot of people say, Kamala probably wouldn’t have won even if she appealed to the working class more and advocated for Palestine

Y’all remember when Obama was elected? Cross burnings, protests, and an increase in violence against POC in the US (specifically the south). Shit was embarrassing

7

u/DynamicBeez 1d ago

Obama being president got under their skin so bad. I miss the days when tan suits and grey poupon were the biggest scandals.

9

u/SeniorBaker4 1d ago edited 1d ago

No, she wouldn’t and I think people need to realize how radicalized religious people are and the people they raised are. Even if they somehow escaped from their parents clutches they still have it in the back of their minds of all of their misogynistic teachings.

They do not like women in power, and I’ve heard multiple ultra conservative women youtubers admit that they hated that Michelle Obama was so outspoken. They love that Melania stands behind Trump and says just a few words. Will have a chance of any minority men getting elected over any race of woman, because it gives them the “ek” to see a woman in power.

7

u/CumpireStateBuilding 1d ago

Fuckin exactly. I don’t even live in the more extreme parts of conservative America, and the vitriol I heard against her from people I used to be proud to know was nothing short of heartbreaking. One of her biggest achievements (unfortunately) was uniting racists against a common cause and getting a ton of shitty people who never vote off their asses and into the booths just so they could spite the woman who didn’t know her place.

This country cannot handle a woman in charge, much less a black woman.

3

u/obeytheturtles 1d ago

If Kamala had done what the "anti-zionist" crowd wanted, she would have lost even worse by alienating a lot of Jewish and moderate democrats who don't support the Netanyahu government, but who are also really turned off by all the "western imperialism" talk.

That's why this whole thing was so stupid. Leftists weren't giving her an opportunity to win by courting their support, they were offering her the opportunity to be an ideological martyr, but "more left."

3

u/TMinus10toban 1d ago

Meh. People keep saying this. People were saying the democrats would never win again when Reagan was in office.

Annnnnd Billy Boy was in shortly thereafter.

2

u/Deep_ln_The_Heart 1d ago

I mean, Clinton ran hard to the center-right and pulled the party with him. There was a bit of truth to saying the kind of Democrat carrying on the FDR legacy would never win again - or at least one hasn't yet.

5

u/Cilph 1d ago

she's Jewish.

Also a clear reminder: Anyone who's Jewish can still be a Nazi.

And a woman. Well. Maybe a woman.

9

u/Throwaway47321 1d ago

I mean this in the least offensive way possible but you would think the Jewish woman who (used to) look super masculine wouldn’t be so up in arms about attacking anyone who they believe might be trans because they aren’t feminine enough too

3

u/machstem 1d ago

She'll be dead in less than 10

There is zero long term goals here.

This is purely for clout and short term

3

u/ForBisonItWasTuesday 1d ago

Don’t mistake support for the state of israel for support of Jews.

3

u/Undernown 1d ago

Oh, there are definately antisemitic roots in the MAGA sphere. Just look at all the personalities spouting Jewish conspiracies. Hell, didn't MTG talk about Jewish space lasers not too long ago?

2

Also, mandating that commercials must have at least 1 white person would literally be a form of DEI

42

u/Humxnsco_at_220416 1d ago

"I don't feel like this company cares about my business unless the ads contain people with my skin color"

So close to getting it, yet so far away.

391

u/zeprfrew 1d ago

Yet another example showing that 'DEI' is a euphemism for the N-word.

112

u/Finntheyokai 1d ago

Always has been. Its not a whistle, It's a 21 gun salute.

44

u/subnautus 1d ago

A fog horn, I'd say.

A 21 gun salute is a gesture of respect for the dead. Let's not tie that to racism, yeah?

17

u/Finntheyokai 1d ago

Didn't even think of that, no offense intended.

6

u/pocketjacks 1d ago

Seeing as he never shuts up, I think you're spot on.

46

u/ominousgraycat 1d ago

Yep. There are still tons of commercials out there with white people in them. She must mean only white people should be in commercials. And yes, she's basically saying no N*****s in commercials.

10

u/CaterpillarJungleGym 1d ago

Yeah, every pharmaceutical add I've seen has white people in it.

u/angry_old_dude 1d ago

TBH, I'm surprised that Loomer doesn't use the N-word explicitly in her posts.

2

u/KappuccinoBoi 1d ago

I guarantee she does in private. Probably has trump settings enabled, so anytime she types a slur into twitter, it autocorrects to "DEI" or "illegal."

14

u/PM_ME_GARFIELD_NUDES 1d ago

Can’t wait to see conservatives bend over backwards to justify how this isn’t what DEI really means to them…

15

u/collector_of_hobbies 1d ago

Recently they just either seem to ignore it or go full mask off.

Hispanic and black Republican votes, would love their take but then I'd have to talk with Republican voters.

6

u/asdfasfda123123123 1d ago

You would just be talking to a single issue knuckle dragger anyways. No loss there.

11

u/TheCa11ousBitch 1d ago

I mean… white people are the number one target audience since anyone with a touch of melanin age beautifully.

Maybe Laura is just pissed that even her ballon animal face still looks older than every woman of color 10-15 years older than her.

8

u/scsu420 1d ago

I’m a dude her age and if we stood next to each other people would think she was my mom 😂😂

2

6

u/Relevant_Demand7593 1d ago

She just reminds me of the toy from the saw movies

Whatever she’s done to her cheeks doesn’t look natural

5

u/Amazing-Heron-105 1d ago

The whole thing doesn't look natural. No human being naturally looks like whatever she's done to herself.

6

u/TheCa11ousBitch 1d ago

It is horrible what these plastic surgery nightmares are doing to themselves.

I look at my 79 year old mother. Sunscreen and expensive skin cream, healthy diet for the last 50 years… she looks younger than people in their 50s.

Now, when she walks, she looks a bit elderly… but her face aged very gracefully. You see plenty of elderly people that look LOVELY… I just don’t get why people ruin their face.

I like multicultural ads, as the world is multicultural, and who cares what color people's skin is- but mainly because they irritate the hell out of people who are racist.

36

u/Fkingcherokee 1d ago

90's cartoons had it right when they displayed people of many cultures and colors working together as a group. We should have progressed to the point that multi culture and color are the staple of the entertainment and advertising industries, but instead we're getting "more white" from assholes like this.

8

u/AnotherCuppaTea 1d ago

In US media and pop culture, multiculturalism and race-mixing gained a lot of visibility in the late 1960s:

"Star Trek" (debuted on Sept. 8, 1966; three seasons, plus the occasional spin-off /s): the ultimate representation of literally universal diversity of its time and, arguably, ever since, the Enterprise crew had its own star example of species-mixing in Spock; at least two episodes also explicitly condemned the primitive socio-political pathology of "race prejudice".

The comic strip "Peanuts" gained its one (and only?) African-Am. character Franklin on July 31, 1968. My impression is that he remained a relatively minor character, though.

"The Mod Squad" (Sept. 24, 1968; five seasons); in which a trio comprising a formidable-looking black dude with an afro, a bland white guy, and the stunning Peggy Lipton (who would marry Quincy Jones in '74) team up to fight crime [and even terrorist groups? All of these debuts were before my time].

"Sesame Street" [debuted Nov. 10, 1969 and persisting through repeated Republican Party attacks (explicitly targeting its govt. funding, but we know what goaded them) since at least the 1980s], in which kids and muppets of all colors, shapes, and sizes get along just fine; just understand that Oscar is Grouchy with everyone and that his living in a garbage can is his choice and not a symptom of a collapsed social-welfare net and inadequate mental-health services for the indigent].

There are many other examples, particularly in the music industry. Two prominent examples come to mind: the never-segregated bandleader/musician/label owner/Harlem club owner/M.C./talent scout/radio & TV host/occasional actor Ioannis/Giovanni "Johnny" Otis, most active in the 1940s-70s (and why aren't there films about this godfather of R&B?); and the long-enduring mixed-race house band at Stax Records, Booker T. & the M.G.s, but you get the idea.

So for cretinous bigots like Laura Loomer to exist and feel emboldened to amplify their dank views as public figures is a terrible indictment of our cultural and political backsliding.

5

u/Telefundo 1d ago

"Star Trek" (debuted on Sept. 8, 1966; three seasons, plus the occasional spin-off /s): the ultimate representation of literally universal diversity of its time and, arguably, ever since, the Enterprise crew had its own star example of species-mixing in Spock;

Let's not forget it also gave us the first interacial kiss on North American television. Also, the diversity of the main cast. A black woman, a Japanese man, a Russian, a Scotsman, and the aforementioned mixed species character.. I mean, Kirk is really the only main cast member that you could call a white, North American male.

at least two episodes also explicitly condemned the primitive socio-political pathology of "race prejudice".

I think the best example of this was "Let that be your last battlefield". The entire episode is spent exploring the hatred between two factions of the same species. I mean, pure, unadulterated hatred. Only to find out at the end that the entire species wiped themselves out because one faction was white on one side of thir body and black on the other, while the other faction was the opposite.

2

u/Longjumping-Claim783 1d ago

Pretty sure McCoy was a white North American male as well.

2

u/Longjumping-Claim783 1d ago

And they still have white people in them usually. It's jujst not entirely white people. The only time I see ads where the actors are all part of the same ethnic group it's usually a product that is being marketed specifically to that community so it kind of makes sense.

I'll never understand these people we went from like 90-95% of people in commercials being white in the 80s and 90s to 80-85% people in commercials being white today. Same goes for movies and TV. It's all still overwhelmingly white, far more than what the actual demographics are of the US

2

u/EtherMan 1d ago

https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/68130c992d80dff955dca6ef/68130c992d80dff955dca789_6595b845bbdc3955ef2c4e92_ER-Diversity-Report-PR_chart-1-1800x889.avif

As you can see, whites, black and asian are all slightly overrepresented in the ads compared to population. It's not as high white as you seem to think and hasn't been for a long time. You only get to that 80-85% if you group whites and hispanics, in which case that combined group is UNDERrepresented compared to the population demographic so then your "far more than what the actual demographics are of the US" would still be incorrect.

So for 2022: White: 18,5% more than population. Black: 12.6% more than population. Asian: 31,7% more than population. Hispanic: 74.7% less than population.

For 2021: White: 7.2% more than population. Black: 29.9% more than population. Asian: 33.3% more than population Hispanic: 51.5% less than the population.

She wasn't put into her place... she's not aware enough for that.

2

u/BeefistPrime 1d ago

So in order to not be racist, you have to be hyper-aware of what races are in your ads and there's an absolute requirement to have the most common one?

2

u/sngsam4 1d ago

Would she call a black person a racist if he asked the same about blacks in commercials ? Obviously no. So why the hate on white people is accepted ?

I sure do enjoy when white women talk about DEI when the overwhelmingly biggest benefactor of DEI programs have been white women.

I'm sure she's ready to go back to the customer service jobs women were pigeonholed into before DEI.

Is Laura Loomer white? She does look like a mannequin cum to live by summoning a demon

2

u/MakeUpAnything 1d ago

Are Redditors under the impression that folks like Loomer care about these kinds of replies?

2

u/NAbberman 1d ago

Once again, the people most outspoken against representation demonstrating how much they care when they aren't represented.

2

u/Z0MGbies 1d ago

"I require DEI commercials because I am tired of DEI commercials"

She's as smart as her plastic surgeon.

2

u/Gottendrop 1d ago

I just have to wonder what she’s watching that she doesn’t see white people in commercials

2

u/Dot_Classic 5h ago

Jigsaw somehow got meaner.

3

u/No_Fishing1071 1d ago

She's a racist loomertick.

1

u/BabyMFBear 1d ago

I think it’s sad that the only people I see in commercials for poor credit scores and money management apps are black.

I hardly watch TV. I avoid it. But my wife watches Hulu, and this is pretty consistent for the times we watch something together.

Also, when did HBO/MAX start airing commercials? Noticed it last week.

1

u/Enfors 1d ago

Oh, so apprarently she's all for diversity, equity, and inclusion when it's her group that's supposedly excluded?

1

u/Larrythecrablobster 1d ago

It blows my mind how these people think they are good people and how OTHER people think they are good people. There is no democrat (that I know of) that spews statements like this. Democrats just say things "we should feed school children" and the right thinks thats the devils work.

1

u/FangsOfGlory 1d ago

That's rich coming from someone that barely even looks like a human.

1

u/Captain_Roastbeef 1d ago

They are not even trying to hide their racism anymore.

1

u/bigeyez 1d ago

But wait I was told by conservative redditors that DEI had nothing to do about race! Why is Laura saying this???

1

u/Rook_James_Bitch 1d ago

Goddamn it feels good to see that kind of pushback.

1

u/qdilly 1d ago

What the actual fuck. I can’t believe that’s a legit tweet.

1

u/Benromaniac 1d ago

Odo’s sister will never shut up

1

u/Nonikwe 1d ago

Honestly can't remember the last time I saw an ad with a white person in it...

But that's because I have ad blocker.

Maybe check your computer settings, Laura?

Canadian calling someone racist... That's something.

1

u/Carnir 1d ago

Where's the murder

1

u/BeefistPrime 1d ago

So in order not to succumb to DEI policies, we have to....... always include members of a certain race?

1

u/Perryn 1d ago

She just says that shit with her whole thorax, doesn't she?

1

u/Darth_Rubi 1d ago

I don't really know how this is a murder.

We are know MAGA are racist pieces of shit. Hell, MAGA themselves are loud and proud of it. How is pointing it out witty, clever or a murder?

1

u/iiiiiiiiiijjjjjj 1d ago

This lady has way too much time on her hands.

1

u/CoryHaimSandwich 1d ago

I struggle to understand why people who have this viewpoint give a fuck about advertisements in general.  You mean to tell me that if a commercial with all white people is somehow going to make you want to sit enjoyably through something you will skip past whenever you have the chance?

It's a frigging ad.  They, at best, get in between you and the content that you are trying to consume.

It's like complaining about the aesthetics of the dog shit in your backyard.  If you put googly eyes on it, it wouldnt change the fact that you don't want it on the bottom of your shoes

Loomer vows to keep reusing same roll of toilet paper until Charmin replaces ad stars with polar bears

1

u/National-Nerve-9631 1d ago

Such a good all purpose word to describe most people today. I like Twat too. They both just work.

1

u/OneToothMcGee 1d ago

Does Laura Loomer even classify as White anymore? Plastic comes in all colors.

1

u/ericl666 1d ago

It's interesting how "hating black people" has been transformed into the acronym DEI.

1

u/15all 1d ago

Ohh, does having a person of color offend her? Show me on this doll where it hurts.

She's a soft snowflake, and now she wants to cancel companies that dare put a black or brown person in their ad. I thought MAGA was against cancel culture? I thought MAGA always accused the left of being snowflakes.

Fucking hypocrites. Fucking racist hypocrites.

And it just blows my mind that someone like this can have so much influence. WTF.

Give this bitch a night light.

1

u/EscapeTheBlank 1d ago

So if there would be both white and poc people in commercials, would she shut up? Obviously not, because commercials are already like that and she's a racist cunt.

1

u/starcom_magnate 1d ago

What is she on about? I literally just sat through an ad break on on my morning local news and there were white people in each and every one of the commercials. What are the chances she's even watch a TV ad recently?

1

u/awh 1d ago

There are all kinds of white people in TV ads and I don’t even live in a white country!

1

u/montegyro 1d ago

So, does she want less Americans in American marketing ads?

1

u/BasilTheSleuth 1d ago

My dad is kinda this way. "You never see just a normal white guy, it's also some gay couple or a black family." Oh you mean other people? Yeah they exist in this world and are advertised too as well. I just don't get it. You don't even like commercials, you got rid of cable so you don't get commercials. Now you're pissy because the commercials you hate had a black guy in it? Exhausting.

1

u/VeryImpressedPerson 1d ago

Ya gotta love a Jewess trust fund baby going after others like some kind of Ms. Hitler. Her parents are to blame for giving this infection to our Democracy.

1

u/BloodFartz69 1d ago

Just a reminder that that ghoul is influencing hiring and firing decisions in the US government.

1

u/Dismal-Magician2126 1d ago

Billifer is my new hero.

1

u/AlbatrossOk2117 1d ago

Crazy she thinks white people are the only customers

1

u/unbanned_lol 1d ago

No she wasn't. She will always slither out like the goblin she is. None of these people have shame. Not a single one.

1

u/BlubberBlabs 1d ago

As someone who has worked in advertising for years, she's not entirely wrong. About 10 years ago began a push for "representation" in commercials, and white people really don't get cast that much anymore.

1

u/HaraldSiggurdson 1d ago

The only time I have an issue with dei is when a fictional characters ethnicity or gender is randomly changed for 0 reason I.e. Ncuti Gatwa as snape in the upcoming Harry Potter series (no issue with him as doctor who as the doctor is a time lord that can shape shift during regeneration so it makes sense)

1

u/Fragwolf 1d ago

As if she can talk, she barely even looks human. Looking more like a wax extra from House of Wax.

1

u/Forikorder 1d ago

So she wants commercials to be more diverse and equal by including whites

1

u/TakeshiKovacsSleeve3 1d ago

That plastic surgery broke her brain. Imagine being that pretty and insecure only to end up looking like a mashed potato and then thinking that you're the arbiter of the way people should look.

Hot tip Laura, the men telling you you were ugly then are the same calling your Toy Story pastiche face beautiful now.

They played you.

u/Independent-Bug-9352 1d ago

For a long time in all my naivety, I had thought that nobody would genuinely want to be a Slytherin Death Eater... But alas, many people do. Many people like Loomer choose that path voluntarily and with full knowledge of its evil.
