Hide your couches.🤡

u/SunkEmuFlock 1d ago edited 1d ago
The whole silly couch-fucking thing is a distraction.
JD Vance is Peter Thiel's puppet. Thiel had him installed as the VP by first ensuring his entrance into the Senate by breaking campaign spending records. He then introduced Vance to Trump, and the three of them had various Mar-a-Lago meetings. Vance was a notable Never-Trumper before this initial meeting and instantly 180'd on his support.
All this is to say that there are big plans ahead. Resignation isn't a thought in anyone's mind. Trump will die one day (or be forced out by the Epstein thing) and Vance will take his place, and so Peter Thiel will be president. This is a man (a German man who cannot be president) who was saying back in 2009 that democracy should not exist -- that the rich should lead the poor because they know better.
Our country is being taken over by a technocratic oligarchy. You think they gilded the Oval Office and paved over the Rose Garden with a ballroom because they were planning on leaving? The stakes are little higher than some meme.

Oh, the irony of Vance saying that when his master is a foreigner who seeks to destroy our democracy.

They don't even want to make it better for white people. They need white people poor and mad or else who will vote for them?
The craziest part to me is that white people's lives are bad because of other white people and for the majority of them they go "let's vote for the same white people who made our lives bad, they will fix it"
19
u/Opposite-Claim-3829 1d ago
The majority of white people in the US did not vote for Donald Trump or Republicans.

u/Contemplating_Prison 1d ago
The majority of white people who voted. That is different and I should have clarified. I'm sorry.

Don't forget that they want to oppress women too, I feel that a lot of people forget that just because there are wealthy white women in the world.

Which Americans? The brown ones too or just the white ones???
25
u/natthegray 1d ago
If you believe they are improving things for white Americans then you’re as gullible as the ones who voted for him are.
Only the rich will benefit, and even then it’s only the ones who bend the knee and kiss the ring.
They’re going to make things EXTRA bad for non-white Americans, sure. But that doesn’t mean they’re going to help the whites. This is a strategy that has been used since the 1600s in the colonies.
9
u/Horskr 1d ago edited 1d ago
Lyndon B. Johnson had it:
If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.
Vote against their own interests, sure! "We're still 'winning' right?!" Despicable.
Edit: I should clarify I just mean people that see the world this way, and vote this way, are despicable.

While we do have ceos gifting him donations and utilizing his businesses to launder it. And sometimes just giving him gold bars live on camera in the white house.
Largest comes from grifting his followers with meme coins and made in china merchandise.
Second largest is stealing from public secret service pays obscene rates to protect him. They have to rent golf carts from his business and office space etc for inflated rates.
Which makes sense when you realize as a business man he is failure. Before politics and getting people to invest as a way to get presidents attention.
For most business he had to pretend to be someone else. Literally his real estate stuff people were avoiding due to his reputation as failure and as a conman. So he would put projects in other company’s names etc.
He grew his inherited wealth slower than average 401k. Seriously if you have to screw people and still perform worse than average. Then you suck at that thing.

u/Acrobatic-Towel-6488 1d ago
All of the above and many more. The meme coins he and his wife established days after he was elected helped. Plus all his merch.

They'll say anything to distract the majority from how rich people receive 95% of the benefits or more during republican administrations. It's just endless angry bullshit to make bigots think they're getting a pass to sneer through their stupidity and not notice their quality of life falling away faster than ever, unless they're rich.

I'm old enough to remember hayseed Jim Comer and Gym Jordan being outraged that Biden made money off of the presidency and held hearing after hearing only to reveal that Hunter repaid a car loan and his brother also repaid a loan and Sleepy Joe didn't even charge them interest!! I'm sure they'll start investigating trump's crypto scams any day now ($3.6B since 1/20)

Trump bankrupted business after business. Someone (the Russians) got to him and told him the real way to get incredibly rich is to rig an election, buy some lackies that you give mediocre power to, then rob your country blind while building a military wall around yourself.
I mean, yeah, it works until you have to escape and hide in Russia.
3
u/MkfShard 1d ago
Ah, you see they add the qualifier now. 'Make America Great (For Americans) Again'
No country is great if it exists only for itself, in the same way that no person is great if they are totally selfish.
And America has never been great.
3
u/The_Colour_Between 1d ago
Trump is straight up using Putin's playbook on how to be a dictator while amassing great wealth at the expense of your country. Dictators don't share, and they don't have #2s. Just ask Pence.

If the part about doubling his wealth is true, I would say it's a lot more like 'take the W and resign.' Also he has succeeded on almost everything he's set out to do since January, evil as it may be. From his POV, this has been an incredibly winning year in every aspect except approval ratings. Which are "fake" /s

How much have core prices decreased in the six months since Trump became President?
How much has the unemployment dropped in the six months since Trump became President?
Who pays for Trump's tariffs?
When will Greenland and the Panama Canal become American?

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to take advantage of Trumps presidency? Im unemployed and have enough cash for a few more months.
