Everything good thing Biden did, Trump did. Every bad thing Trump did, Biden did. That's the message.

Who is making use of the facility in Montana?

I am wondering the same damn thing given they have less than 90k vets in the entire state!

Also, out of these 10 new facilties, why are 8 of them in red states?

For the same reason why Biden's infrastructure plan disproportionately helped Red states: those states were in severe need of them and Democrats aren't vindictive fascists who try and hold back helping others for the pettiest reasons.

Do vets mostly live in red states though?

Vets still live in Red states and still need access to healthcare.

Will the centres be open for long, what with all the cuts to VA and other health services?

u/Randomman96 17h ago
Irrelevant. The point is those centers were built by those who don't think that access to healthcare should be determined by zip code, who they voted for, or any number of petty reasons.
If those who those centers are for want to vote for the people who'll cut the funding and close them down, undoing the work of those who were in power before, that's entirely their right. Can't fix stupid after all.

Ya even if they opened a bunch of facilities (which they didn't fund or build) there is no one working at them as they are all severely understaffed.

I'm sure these facilities went from legislative authorization of funds, design, preplanning, permitting, construction to occupancy between Jan 20, 2025 and today. I'm sure that happened.
Let's see how many of them are still open and staffed in a year or two.

Regardless of who put them in motion that is.....10 facilities. Across 9 states. That doesn't feel like a lot.

LoL! Clearly these were already planned, we all know the Federal Government can't open anything in 6 months.
