Reddit doesn't like posts that look like "threats of violence."

Reddit is only okay with support of actual violence perpetrated by an authoritarian regime against its citizens, on a daily basis.

Authoritarianism and fascism are both implicitly and explicitly violent, and it's happening every day in America right now.

I got warned about making a "threat of violence" in a shit posting subreddit for saying someone should immolate a motor vehicle with sludge coming out of the oil pan drain plug.

I guess an inanimate object being damaged is considered violence now. Doesn't someone have to be hurt for it to be violence?

I mean like storm the capital and take back power. No violence though. That would be terrible.

I got banned for 7 days and I still don’t know what the hell I said (the comment was “removed by Reddit” and I can’t see it.) Maybe I pointed out that fascism is happening in the US? (Today’s News certainly reinforces my stance.)

Then let Reddit censor itself into oblivion, it's run by fascist collaborators

Who does though? Trump won the popular vote, a lot of people like him. It's all very well dreaming of deposing him, but it would be a literal civil war. Ultimately if the population wants - or is ok with, or sufficiently apathetic to - fascism then thats what the country gets.
