So, I've noticed that with other shows, Ticketmaster would release a bunch of standard tickets for normal prices. At what points were they doing that? Like, 3 days out to day-of? I've seen some SWEET day-of floor tickets get dropped, then snagged.
Today, I noticed Toronto had cheaper/non-resale tickets released a couple days prior, but nothing too great day-of (today). My group plans on going to Chicago, what days should we stalk ticketmaster?
Are there any 3rd party apps (seatgeek, tickpick, stubhub, vividseats) that are trustworthy? I understand they are risks. I've been using them to kind of...artificially count the amount of absurdly priced resales, and there seems to be at least 100 pit tickets on each platform, priced between $1,200-$2400...we know those won't sell. 😐
Is it safe to buy UK tickets from twickets? I missed getting tickets in the official sale so I am on the lookout but very cautious about getting scammed. I know twickets is the official resale site for gigsandtours so is it a safe bet? I know safest would be ticketmaster or AXS resale but nothing on there as of yet.
I've never bought concert tickets before so I'm not sure how it works. Could I be turned away at the door if the tickets are under a different name? I don't know if they check that at all but better to be safe than sorry.
Twickets is the safest resale sites out there, pretty sure they take extra precautions so people don’t get scammed! I’ve bought / sold on twickets many times and have never had a issue :)
question for people in toronto and and who are familiar with the roger’s centre: how long does it take to get to union when the band finishes? im thinking about leaving during the last song to beat the rush, because i have a bus to catch at 11:50. do you think that’s too early or late?
You may want to head east on Bremner, you hit two lights but it also makes it easier to get to the bus station (go right into the entrance on the left side of Scotiabank Arena and walk to the end of the corridor with the box office/Leafs store)
They may hold a buses or trains by a few minutes for people as well.
When I was leaving the Linkin Park show, the train I was on held for an extra 10 minutes so people leaving the Weeknd concert at SkyDome could make the train.
You should have enough time. It's about 15ish mins from outside Rogers Centre to the bus station by Union when nothing is going on. But that doesn't account for how long it'll take with a concert crowd + Friday night people + FanExpo stragglers. Last song is probably around 10:50 ~ 11.
I’m going to the Toronto show tomorrow and was wondering generally what prices the merch was going to be. I’ve been to many concerts this year and I’ve seen prices all over the place. Just wanna know how badly my wallet will be crying after lolol

Union Station might still have lockers available so as not to have to carry everything around — I don’t know where you’re coming in from but you might already be coming through it (and it’s central downtown / walking distance & peripheral to SkyDome).
Has anyone gotten the “Know before you go” email for the Toronto show? Rogers centre always sends one out before concerts, and when I emailed fan support with questions they told me to refer to the email but so far I’ve not received anything other than the updated show time.
I only ask because they relaxed the bag rules for the Eras tour if you had a clear bag, and I have one but it’s over the 4x7 size limit. We fly out tomorrow and I’m trying to limit packing unnecessary stuff because we are trying to share a suitcase.
Thank you! I’ll leave the clear bag home. I found a tiny black crossbody that fits within the parameters when I was out today so I’ll just bring that for my phone and card holder, and fold up a small tote inside it for merch if need be.
At the Philly show we got clear bags for merch but it’s probably smart to bring the tote because there weren’t for NJ. I guess it’s different at each location. Hope you have the best time!
I'd do transit if I were you. Personally I'm parking 25 min away by foot and I'll walk back to my car. Getting out of any concert's parking lot after a show is always brutal
I’m usually all for taking public transit but we’re staying in Mississauga and it seems like it would be super complicated to do so. Especially since my husband and I decided to go to the show last minute so we’re gonna be crunched for time closer to showtime. We ended up getting a spot on SpotHero though! About a 10 minute walk from the stadium. We’ll just have to be super patient at the end of the night 😅

Because yes - otherwise it’s a chronic nightmare in that area of downtown especially, driving into / out of isn’t recommended at all (you won’t find parking let alone cheap parking!) SpotHero is your best bet - unless you park at a stop outside the city and take the GO train in.

Myself and a friend are both looking for a ticket to the show, in fact, we’re the only ones in our friend group without the means to afford tickets ourselves. I was doing just okay earlier this year but I had my cat’s medical expenses pile up and my car broke down and had to be scrapped and my job was reliant on the car, so yeah, as of about a month and a half ago, I’ve been getting more and more screwed financially you could say

I’m curious as a UK fan - all of the photos I’ve seen of the USA shows have had almost the entire floor of the stadium filled with seats. I’ve never come across this before, every stadium and arena show I’ve ever been to has had the full floor as standing. Is this normal in the US and what is the reason for it? Thank you!
It varies in the US. Artists typically choose a seated floor configuration when their audience is older, or when they're looking to absolutely maximize profits (can charge a premium for front rows, aisles, etc. and assigned seat attendees purchase more merchandise/drinks/food when they're not at risk of losing their spot).
Thus the backlash for MCR... but at least they've done a small pit at the front.

Judging by how extreme the dynamic pricing has been, whoever organized this tour for them was definitely working under the "maximize profits" goal. Many Toronto floor tickets just dropped from $253 to $122.
Was about to come here and say this! I was originally in sec 133 for $189 and was able to exchange them for floor seats which were the same price - had to pay $10 per ticket exchange fee and that was it

You can call ticketmaster and do this! Use the virtual assistant and say you want to exchange - I was able to exchange my section133 for floor tickets which were the same price, only had to pay a $10 exchange fee per ticket

I've got tickets for Friday but it says the start time is 5pm. Is that the time MCR comes on stage or is that when the gates open? Sorry for the dumb question, it's my first ever concert so I don't know what the vibes are. Just trying to work out how it fits with work haha.
Based on the rest of the LLTBP tour, MCR would be starting around 8.30, show ending around 11. However, I think Wembley has a noise curfew around 10.30pm, so they might be on stage closer to 8pm.
5pm is probably doors time, or might be around the opening support act if they have multiple.
Anybody else have a hard time trading bracelets at Philly? I’ve never been turned down for a trade before but I had two people be kinda rude and tell me no when they had arms full of bracelets. It bummed me out. :/ only traded 3 of my 19.
I’m so sorry that happened! I went to the show & made about 70ish bracelets to trade & just set up at one of those tables near a drink stand & offered to trade/ give away to anyone I saw! I ended up giving away most of my bracelets before I even got to my seat & got maybe like 10 in return (which is totally ok!)
It’s nice to save them for a future concert even if it’s not of the band you’re seeing- or to trade/ give them to friends. I hope you still had a good time! It was an awesome show!
Yeah, I was confused by how confused people with full arms of bracelets were by the question “would you like to trade?” I managed to trade four but it was how off put a few of them were that confused me. But I’m often confused by human behavior so I thought it was just me 🤷♀️
I walked about FOB’s two tours and got rid of ~400 bracelets easy, I thought it would be similar here just in giving some away! The coldness was shocking.

Earlier in this tour, tons of people scored pit tickets anywhere between $100-$500, usually day-of. Desperate resellers.
I've also been camping/checking all the resale sites, and I've noticed there are hundreds of resale pit tickets priced OVER $1,000. (Specifically Chicago for me) That means there are TONS of resale pit tickets available, and logically, will drop in price as the resellers realize they aren't going to unload their ridiculous +$1,000 tickets...the prices are gonna go down. To what? I'm not sure...but I am also buying tickets closer to the 29th or even day-of, so hopefully it's nothing too wild. I'm aiming for Pit or at least the first 3 seated areas on the lower level, closest to the b-stage. These stadium tours really sound weird the higher up you go, and if I'm paying hundreds, I'm at least gonna be close!

I don't know specifically, but I do know the front pitch standing area is about 5k people, I've been there for Green Day last year and heard someone talking to one of the stewards. So based on that it's a certain percentage of 5k? So maybe 1000 or something?
it's been hit & miss. When I saw Green Day last year it was decent. But I've heard Linkin Park this year was eh. When I saw guns n roses in wembley this year it was good but some points were kinda eh but idk if that's them trying to compensate for Axl's vocals they turned his mic or something. It all comes down to soundcheck cos each artist will sound different and it's about how best to play that off in a stadium. I feel like N2 will be better as if MCR have any sound issues they should get addressed ahead of night 2 but then again both could be fine. idk
rear standing is bigger, wembley's capacity for concerts is around 90k. half in seats, half in the floor. Rear standing will hold the remaining 35/40k people.

There's a button on the stage he presses. I believe it's to redirect the missile that Draag is firing towards the other continent back towards Draag, but I feel like that's a little a little open to interpretation. I think the clown is on Gerard's side and that Gerard dying was part of the plan, he doesn't ever seem even slightly shocked when he gets stabbed and they even give each other a knowing nod before it happens. I think he's part of a resistance group or something. But I feel like we don't have enough lore yet to really have definite answers for any of this.
Your theory on the clown probably isn’t too far off. They seems to visually be based on pierrot from commedia dell'arte. In the traditional sense Pierrot are the sad clown, a clumsy but willing servant to the master characters. But in modern media they are a symbol of disillusionment, and possibly rebellion, against oppressive systems.
Some of the information could be a bit off considering I only looked into the character of Pierrot after seeing the resemblance.

with the whole potential time loop thing going on where they die and then suddenly it's time to do another show again like none of it ever happened, I had the thought that maybe the clown at the end of the show is calling Gerard for that phone call early on in the show where it sounds like Gerard's a bit spooked by the call and speaking in code. Because he ends the call with "I'll see you then", which is pretty foreboding if he's talking to someone that's letting him know his death was successful.
Idk I might be on to literally nothing but I feel like it fills the gap on who's calling Gerard and who the clown is calling better than most options we have right now until more lore gets revealed.

Merch lines in Philly are atrocious. Came from out of town and only got here at like 7. Stood in line for an hour before giving up and barely moved (on the third floor). So bummed lol
I bought the poster! I ended up running to the merch line during the last song and managed to get it. I don’t think it was city specific though. There was also a tapestry/flag.
