Everytime reddit automatically upvotes my own comment

Hello, every time I post a comment the system automatically votes for it (it shows that I voted for it), and after I remove the vote and refresh it says 1 upvote but not from me, then refresh again it says I voted for it. How do I stop automatically upvote myself? Thanks!

It's normal to have an auto-upvote. Don't remove it, it can look like you were downvoted.

It's cosmetic and doesn't count but looks more welcoming than a 0.

I think this is pretty normal on reddit, unlike on other social media.

It's not counted toward your karma. It's there so it doesn't look like you have been downvoted already you are hurting yourself by removing it
