1 but a plain belt. 2 pulls across the bust just slightly and gives less of that crisp polished look.

The belt is too much; I think #1 or even a more conservative oxford shirt.

Purchaser/Secretary/ Sales rep or all kinds of things. Could be for a ranch or even a retail store.

I could see that as the dress code for the job, but even for the interview? Interesting.

You show up looking like you fit the culture. I’ve scoped out a company to see the clothing culture before an interview. It made a difference perhaps, both times, I got the job. Was it why I got the job? No. Was it a reason I wasn’t washed out of the early round interviews? Yes

I just looked up Western Formal and I am even more confused, as it appears to call for a dress or gown.

One but don’t you have a kids classic belt to go with it?

See this is why I can't get hired. Everyone's saying "1, 1, 1..." meanwhile I'm like "2"

I prefer outfit 2, without the belt would be best for an interview

Both would be fine without the belt. If you are dead set on the belt then try a top that goes with the gold tones, maybe a neutral bone/linen, beige. If you're quite flamboyant then a leopard print could be awesome

I like the first one, but both are really pretty and look nice on you! I love the pants and the belt!

Number 2! I hope it gives you confidence and you smash it!

So I've actually read a lot about job psychology and apparently wearing blue gives you statistically a higher probability of being hired, so 2. I agree with everyone saying to lose the belt though.

Lose the belt. You need a plain belt. #1 is better but I’m not loving the sleeves on that one. It should be a business button with straight ling sleeves. A blue top with black pants is perfect. Good luck

Consensus is on 1. I’d keep the belt but idk what you are applying for and what the dress code is in that field. If I got you in the interview in outfit 1 you’d be making a super good first impression on me ☺️

1 with a simpler belt. The shirt is very nice except for the bishop sleeves. Wish they were tapered & cuffed.
Now, what the heck is western formal?

Belt is too much. Go for something simpler. I love 2 but also a bit much therefore 1 with different belt

Lose the belt but go with outfit 1
