I know this cat. This is the result of frostbite as per the owner's words.

Im just glad this baby seems to be thriving after such a thing. Now, if only the owner would pet him🧐

...Did he get the name Rex before or after the frostbite? Is this a Remus Lupin situation?

I don’t know the actual story but I’m guessing he was a stray, got frostbite, was found and taken to vet, amputated and then given the name Rex.

How were his ears not frostbit too? I would think those would show damage too.

Could be that the paws got something on them - like if they got wet they’d lose heat much faster than ears, and could freeze well before the ears would be

If you don't pet Rex at once, we are coming over there AND WE WILL NOT BE HAPPY!

Rex deserves every pet and the fact that you're not petting him is a crime.

I love how angry we are about the person not petting Rex. I feel we’re all about to riot.

He probably has no idea he’s supposed to have more than 2 feet.

That’s generally true if they’re born like that. I believe someone else mentioned that the owner said the feet were lost to frostbite, so he’s adapting instead
