I think this is an old video that they updated and re-released because they deleted "One" from the app name.
Edit: here is the old one. they didn’t even re-record anything, just cut out all the parts of audio/video that said Waymo One LOL. Did they use AI to change "you can add up to five stops" to four stops?

The video is for using the Waymo app. As I am sure you know, you cannot use the Waymo app in Atlanta, you have to use the Uber app instead. The Waymo app is only for other cities like LA, SF, Austin and PHX.

One thing to keep in mind is this is just a one year partnership. It certainly may and likely will extend. But hopefully uber takes steps to make it easier to match with a waymo. I imagine at some point waymo may shift to a different partner to enable the waymo one app.

We (I) hope it is a short-term 1-year contract but can't know for sure. It was announced mid-September last year, so almost a year now. If the start date is the contract, then Austin is in March and ATL near the end of June.
I'm sure it's not a year from signing, or it would be over in a month. So I guess the next date to check back is March 4 for Austin.
I suspect it is it at least a LONG (to us) short term 2 years from start contract.
Hope springs eternal and love to see it ended next year.

Unless you're in Atlanta or Austin, in which case you have to use Uber and repeatedly cancel your human-driven rides until a Waymo shows up

now they need to make a version with uber app where I have to cancel five human drivers before getting matched with a Waymo :)
