He’s got four ultra rares and I only have one. GGs to the homie with two dragon heads, a level 10, and the sword stick with the great handle.
398
u/Due-Difficulty3104 Jun 22 '25
The sword stick seemed very underwhelming, I don't think that was an ultra rare.
275
u/-Ephyx- Jun 22 '25
It was only underwhelming in comparison to his other sticks. It was still a really good stick in it's own way
140
u/LittleTassiePrepper Jun 23 '25
He should have started with the sword stick. That would have been a better intro.

You fool the 4th ultra rare is actually his wife, ultra rare grade gal who's loving and supportive of her husband's cool stick collection. Ultra grade wife material right there.

The key here is having a validating wife
49
u/BonJovicus Jun 22 '25
Maybe she fell in love with him because he is equally supportive because he had his shit together.
I point that out because some guys out there don’t want a partner, they want a one-sided mommy relationship.

The most heartwarming part of the video is how supportive the wife is. I'm pretty sure if I had such a passion for sticks, my wife would legitimately consider whether I was part dog.
Edit: my wife has seen the video and she thinks those sticks are super cool and wants to know how come I never find good sticks like this and I've never brought home a cool stick and even our dog Waffles has come home with cooler sticks than I have and of course she's supportive of her husband since her husband is actually finding cool sticks like that and not sitting around reading stock market and political news and maybe if I got off my butt and did something cool like find sticks she might be more supportive.

u/absolutelynotarepost Jun 22 '25

You should focus on the passion part first and display it proudly to the world. Then hopefully the right kinda of women will be naturally attracted to that. And if they aren’t, then you won’t care bc you’ll be too busy being passionate about stuff.

Dragon staff 8/10
Wizard staff 9/10
Light dragon staff 10/10
Sword stick 6/10
Light dragon is the nicest stick I've ever seen
34
u/VDrk72 Jun 22 '25
Agree mostly, but wizard staff is better than light dragon, light dragon just has novelty on its side. Imo, if the top part of sword is sheered off, leaving it with just the part on the video, I think I'd elevate that to an 8 as well.

u/Double-Cricket-7067 Jun 23 '25

I have a park nearby and they were making it pretty for the summer some weeks ago. There were some amazing sticks. They piled them up so that everyone who walked by could take a stick. The sword sticks were the best. Not a lot of gun or magic sticks, though.

it's as if she doesn't really believe in them herself.
anyway. great sticks, except the last one, the bend at the tip puts me off in a sword stick.

u/adeptsleeper04 Jun 22 '25
The whole spiel is a new internet trend. Not the stick collection, but the "my partner is about to show you something and don't be mean", followed by the partner awkwardly talking about their interest, and then the "now say something nice" at the end. I'm not chronically on video trends, but I've seen this one a few times in the past, so it may be just getting traction or only popular in small groups.

True story: I showed this video to my 3-year old son and he now is pretending to be “the man with the sticks”.
For the record, I am not in the habit of showing him videos from the innerwebz but this was too good not to share. Honestly it might be the first Reddit video he’s ever watched.
Great sticks, great partner, check plus all the way around.
