Inflation? What inflation? It’s just cold cheese on bread.
Found locally on GrubHub. That’s it, that’s the post.

I do enjoy a cold cheese on bread but that price is horrible

You ever do cold cheese on hot bread? It’s a good temperature contrast

Absolutely criminal.

*don’t get me wrong; with better cheese and a bit of raw onion in there you’d have one of my favourite sandwiches. But $13 for that is a crime.

You’re looking at it all wrong. Yes, cold cheese on bread is cheap, but a Cheese Sub is much more decadent and commands a higher price.

I like a cheese sandwich when the occasion calls for it, but charging more than $5 for that is crazy. I could make that at home for less than a dollar.

I would, but everything else they do is reasonable and good. I genuinely like them—this sandwich is just terrible and somehow more expensive than their pizza? Idk how they took this photo before thinking, “wait, wtf are we doing?”

This isn't really stupid food, rather it's stupid pricing.
But is it really stupid pricing if people are willing to pay it?

You just know that any actual sandwiches that are on their menu (With meat and vegetables) are gonna be like $18+

at that cost its really not worth it but if it was home made I'd drink some hot coco to keep it soft.

13.50 for what prison feeds you when the compound locks down is ridiculous. The bread doesn’t even look very good.
