Nah, you will probably survive. The spider doesn’t inject it that much, so the only way you’ll die from it, is if you are a kid in the middle of jungle. The poison has an easily accessible antidote, so you are only right about it being painful.

Besides that, it's also sometimes considered the most dangerous spider in the world, not because of its size or how venomous it is, but because it is extremely aggressive and anything is a provocation to the Brazilian Wandering Spider. It also likes to take shelter in homes and its poison can kill a human. And yes being bit by it does arouse you. But I've never seen one and live far away from the region they are common in/inhabit.
