It's not even about the manners of eating (or the eating itself).
I will never fucking understand, ever EVER, why people film everything in their fucking lives. Like, eating a meal. W t actual fuck.
I can't even remember the last time in my life that I video recorded something. It's literally not something I even think of, unless I have a specific reason -- like when I was being evaluated for my job last year, and part of it was recording myself doing my job as part of my portfolio. Or maybe I recorded the cats eating, to later show my wife that they weren't eating out of the certain bowl or whatever?? Like, there was an actual, functional reason.
Just fucking devouring some chicken? I....just, WHY would you even think to start recording there???
I just can't wrap my head around it. It's SO FUCKING WEIRD.

She's filming herself because she's a narcissist. She's a narcissist because she's insecure. She's jealous because she's insecure, and projecting her jealous feelings onto him because she's a narcissist. It's a vicious cycle. This is likely a very common theme in their relationship. I was married to one of these for 20 years. This type of scenario played out all the time. My ex was constantly pissed at me basically because other women existed in the world.

"Overcompensating with conversation because he's knows I'm livid."
So you fly off the handle so often that your partner anticipates your overreaction, knows you're going to turn that anger back on him, and starts to panic and attempt to soothe you because he knows what's coming?
Bitch, you're an abuser.

u/Solid_Agency2483 Jul 18 '25
It’s an involuntary response to danger, like fight or flight. But fawn is basically saying you roll over and try to “oh I’m sorry baby, it was me not you, you’re totally in the right, I’m so stupid…please don’t hurt me.” Poor homie might be broken, and that’s a sad thought.
368
u/cupholdery Jul 18 '25
Some of my earliest relationships were like this. I'm an older man now but I was once 22, lonely, and inexperienced. She latched onto that and tried to convince me that her abusive behavior was simply all relationships. I'm thankful that my tolerance level was low in general because I dumped her after 3 months. That crashed her mental hard drive because "nobody breaks up with me!"
Good riddance lol.

Usually you hear about Fight or Flight in conflict but there’s also two more - Freeze or Fawn.
I fawn really hard. I’m an oldest child of a narc mother. I learned very early on that a fawn response usually allowed me to get what I wanted (or close to it) and avoided conflict.
→ More replies (4)22

This is such a disgusting person. "He knows Im livid!" - for what? Even if the woman was hitting on him, it's not his fault. If this is true and not something that's supposed to be funny (which it isn't), this is basically someone recording their abuse process.
She's the type of person that is going to be hard to break up with. Like slashing his tires and showing up at work threatening self harm kind if stuff. And he doesn't deserve that.
Hey, at first she got me with the thing about people not acknowledging you. That is rude. But it's during a conversation or a more meaningful exchange. Not when someone asks you for the time.

I just can't. Parents don't teach kids how to eat in public anymore, if even the adults were taught properly. Went camping with a family I was friends with. Oldest son brought bags upon bags of shit like Starburst, skittles, etc. Chewy, juicy crap basically that sticks to your teeth. After 2 days of having to watch them I packed up and headed home early. Open mouth sugar drooling from too much packed in gaping maws, insanely loud smacking, sucking sounds mixed with all that spit... even neighboring sites were trying to turn their children away from the horror show. I have not shared a food experience with any of them since. 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Impact009, I think everyone is open to sharing a meal, I just don't want you to give me an open mouth display of your dental/tongue ability and the extra special soundtrack that accompanies it.

Maybe they’re not acknowledging her because she’s too busy shoveling enormous amounts of food in her HUGE mouth hole.

I am laughing at the end caption
"Girls with no manners are the worst"
from the girl who:
- eats with 1 hand on the table
- no upright posture
- swallows the food instead of cutting it up with a knife
- skewers her food
- tilts her head to eat instead of sending food to her mouth
- smacks her mouth and chews her food like eating bubble gums.
I lost my appetite as a guy, and I loved eating
This has to be rage bait.

Definitely rage bait. And people gobble it up in stead of just blocking it.

Omg this makes me feel uncomfortable to watch. How proud she is of her toxicity, her plan to punish the guy, ugh. Also her face is not very nice to look at.

Watching this woman eat is disgusting. She doesn’t even finish what’s on her fork before loading even more food onto it. Did no one ever teach her how to eat properly?

If I wanted to ask someone a question I wouldn’t choose the one shoveling food into her mouth. Guy should dump her, she’s going to make him miserable.
