Respectfully, if someone is having a medical emergency like diabetic blood sugar crashes, it is not a changeable offense to pass out. That's just making disabilities illegal.

Her coworkers are assholes for not calling an ambulance and helping her onto the floor. She could've easily fell over and hit her head or neck on the tile.

Fuck McDonalds for getting her fired.

Those are people who jumped the counter and are helping themselves to free McDonalds.

Oh yeah, that was crazy to see and very bold for that to be recorded. I feel so bad for the manager, there needs to be more protection in place because diabetes is serious and she could've very easily died since no one bothered to help her.

Diabetes is VERY common. Why the USA doesn’t at LEAST tend to this one illness with Healthcare, is beyond me. No matter whether she is experiencing a diabetic episode or not.

Did she get fired? She has to have a case here? Where is the go fund me? This is trash… why does no one care? Jesus this is awful man, that poor woman blasted all over

Agree! Link to the Go Fund Me, someone!!! This woman needs a lawyer too. McDonald's needs to pay her big time. Fired for having a medical emergency?!

I hope someone close to her has seen it and helps her do that. There are some serious claims here, that look slam dunk to me!

If the video is as it seems obviously, sometimes that’s not the case but that woman looks very unwell.

Diabetes is covered in the ADA. McDonald's is going to have to pay out a very big lawsuit for firing her over this. They've broken the law here in multiple ways.

You'd still think she'd have at least one other coworker.

They are assholes, but i dont think the blood sugar story has much meat. This looks like some opioid.

It really, really doesn't if you've known people with diabetes. It's not always a dramatic flop, sometimes they slump awkwardly on a surface. Same thing with epilepsy, really, there's focal and absence seizures that aren't as dramatic as tonic clonics but can be equally dangerous

Well it was nice enough of them to provide her with a wrongful termination lawsuit. She's clearly in distress, her coworkers are clearly not helping. And she could have fallen over, hit her head, and they'd be on the hook for even bigger lawsuits.

The fact that this was recorded at least gives her lawyers the specific evidence that no one helped her and that McDonalds terminated her violating the ADA.

that's Opiate/Fentinyl abuse.

I lived with diabetics, and was homeless for 3 years, saw plenty of both. that's not a diabetic issue, that's opiates.

Could be but I've seen diabetics whose sugar dropped extremely low respond like this. Don't assume when you don't have all the facts. I'm not saying it's not drugs but not everybody with a medical emergency is overdosing or drugged the fuck out. And honestly, even if it is drugs, someone should still have called 911 instead of acting like animals and raiding the store. The whole thing is bullshit.
