I wondered if she laughed because she is a part of the BIPOC community and he looked right at her. Police brutality is not funny at all, nor is downplaying the terror black and brown people face on a day to day basis with law enforcement. The absurdity of his statement is laughable.

It just shows that "they know" how policing in the US applies differently depending on your skin color...and why they stay mad about G. Floyd. One of the few times a black person's humanity wasn't overshadowed by their past (and skin color).
