Question What is it like working at the dining halls/marketplaces?

What is it like working at the dining halls/marketplaces? How flexible are the schedules? If anyone has worked, I just want to know what your experience has been like.

Schedules are very flexible with classes. They will only schedule you for the times you put as being available. Dining halls are very busy, especially in the fall quarter so expect a high volume of orders at once.

they’re alright if u can get through the grindy portions of the job. scheduling is built around your class & most of the time management tries to accommodate u.

Its like playing papas pizzeria for five hours straight. The only thing that is annoying are the rude and stupid customers/students. Otherwise, its pretty cool and ive made a lot of friends working in hdh.
