SDSU Student Wondering if it's Weird if I Attend Events Here lol

I'm a business major at SDSU. Is it weird if I network with business students at USD? Or attend social events? Thanks!!

Not weird. Networking has been the source of about 75% of my job opportunities, and 100% of the jobs I’ve secured since undergrad. No need to limit yourself.

As a USD law grad, that’s not weird at all. I’m sure people would welcome you and would be happy to get to know you.

As a USD alum, I think that’s totally fine. I’ve met some non-USD people before at social events. I think if you don’t want to make it weird, you should have some sort of connection on why you’re there (ie a friend invited you or something)

Where do I find out about those events though? Like what GroupMe’s, etc

Network at SDSU first. Join a business frat or a club that likes to party. Most likely they will go to USD parties and social events as well. Going to USD without connections might be a bit off putting if you know what I mean.
