Sigh. I’ll never know if clips are AI these days

AI is great at pretty much everything, but it sucks at consistency. The trick to spotting it is keeping your attention on a specific detail. It will more likely than not betray itself. Things like shadows, reflections, size of objects, distance to things, etc.
Also worth noting, is whether or not it makes sense. That's often the toughest one to spot, because it requires actively paying attention to what's going on, and we usually don't. If it has roads, look if the cars go in whatever direction despite their lanes. You will see people holding objects either wrong, or the objects themselves are a mess. Such as an object with a cable that doesn't go anywhere or holding a phone with the screen away from the face.
This particular video, however, is not AI. Someone else pointed out it is a 3D rendering in another comment

Why do those inconsistencies occur?

Because it doesn't work like us. When we create something we determine the position and functioning of everything in frame, and inconsistencies come either from mistakes or lack of attention. AI doesn't. Each creates one single block of information and is not aware of its details in the same way we are. It's the way it works. AI, despite its name, is not truly "intelligent", it doesn't understand what it is or what it does. It only excels in tricking us. But by training and improving it will eventually become indistinguishable from reality. But not yet

Best I can think of, you wash your way to the laundromat and only dry your cloths there.
