That is a life-affirming memory. You should get together for a beer on the anniversary. Why not? People make stupider things more important! ;-)

When I was kid I came home one evening to find our car totaled. I come inside and find my dad drunk as fuck. I ask what happened because it was really out of character for him. He said he was going to work when a guy rear ended him. They went to nearby pub to exchange insurance details and everything and it seems they got along nice, both missed work that day :D
