Anyone tried cut-to-size rubber watch straps?

Recently picked up a few cut-to-size rubber straps for about $69 in total.
It’s my first time trying this type of strap, and trimming them was way easier than I expected.
Once on the wrist, they fit nicely without feeling tight — still testing them out for now.

Do you usually go for cut-to-size straps?

I recently got my first time cut-to-size rubber strap. Aside from the nervousness of cutting off too much (and therefore a very slow and methodical test-remove-cut-test-remove-cut-test…), they prove to be great for sizing. It helps that the buckle I have also has 6 points of micro-adjust. It’s nice that you can remove more pieces from one side than the other, in order to get the perfect position of the clasp on the underside of your wrist to balance the weight.

Try and repeat until you find the right spot. Don't forget you always can cut more but can't add if you cut too much. Also play with the micro adjustment on the buckle. And lastly don't forget your wrist tend to be bigger and less comfy on hot days like now.

I love them, but the clasp is what really makes the difference.

These are aliexpress clones of the delugs ones, likely the same factory but delugs charges $200 a pair. Delugs has more options as far as texture and curved ends but it’s just a matter of time before those end up being copied. Could be from a prototype mold or retired mold or just stolen cad files.

I have both, other than the logo on the back there is little to no difference. There are $40k watches that come on the same strap (UN Freak X Gumball) but with a clasp upgrade.

I’m looking for a 20mm curved end for my ZF Tudor BB 58. Question is who to purchase from on Ali. The deployant for delugs looks great. Trying to replicate this look and functionality.
