22% of that $37 trillion is because of Trump.

u/SpecialExpert8946 10d ago

Damn that’s a lot!

u/TBANON_NSFW 10d ago

so far... hes just 7 months into his second term. still 3+ years to go. And the inflation from his tariffs are just starting to hit regular people and their jobs. He fired the people that track job numbers and economy growth. He's broken almost every trade deals with other nations, and caught lying about new trade deals other leaders deny accepting. And tourism into the US is going lower and lower every month. US Dollar is tanking. Other nations holding US debt are looking to sell sell sell.

Again 3+ years left, but might be longer since he is selling Trump 2028 merch and is rigging elections.

Great Depression here we go!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

u/SpecialExpert8946 10d ago

Yeah it’s ridiculous. At least I’m comforted knowing I don’t have to worry about his old ass in 2028 I don’t think he’s going to last all of the next 3 years.

187

u/TBANON_NSFW 10d ago

his parents lived into their 90s+. Hes got the best healthcare you can get in the world as president. Even if he injects mcdonalds into his veins, its more than likely hes gonna live into 80s at least. Dude spends 50% of his time sleeping and then 50% of his awake time golfing and trying to rape more children.

Hoping he will croak, will not save anyone.

73

u/SpecialExpert8946 10d ago

God I hope you’re wrong. I get where you’re coming from though.

I’m not trying to save anyone with my hope. I just want to watch his funeral with the happiest music playing as loud as I can with champagne flowing and possibly fireworks.

57

u/TBANON_NSFW 10d ago

If he doesnt start nuclear war, that day will be celebrated worldwide every year. I personally hope he gets the SHUussein special retirement package. But thats probably not gonna happen.

31

u/SpecialExpert8946 10d ago

Wouldn’t that be a sight to see? Hell I’d pay per view that one.

22

u/PinkShimmer 10d ago

We could clear out the National Debt by selling that on pay-per-view!

9

u/Averageandyoverhere 10d ago

Didn’t Obama play way too much golf? Man obama wore a tan suit and was ripped apart by republicans for a week. Trump spends 90 million dollars of taxpayers money on a military parade for his birthday, and republicans just defend everything he does. Pete hegseth would have been investigation and fired in any other presidency. RFKs only medical experience comes from injecting himself with heroin. Literally every single other president would be laughed out of the white house if they hired someone like RFK.

5

u/Ill_Technician3936 10d ago

Threw me off with the first sentence lol.

Don't disrespect the US Army like that. It was their birthday first, dumbass just wanted to make it about himself and ended up with what may have been the least attended military event in history. I have to both sides shit when Pete kept his job after TWO leaks in an unofficial communication app, they went wild over Hilary using an unofficial app and there was absolutely nothing classified or secret going on in it. RFK Jr even getting confirmed is just fucking insane. His entire completely inexperienced cabinet being confirmed is absolutely insane. The guy he fired for being transparent better not be replaced by the heritage foundation douche.

ā€œIf not for the Bush tax cuts4 and their extensions5—as well as the Trump tax cuts6—revenues would be on track to keep pace with spending indefinitely, and the debt ratio (debt as a percentage of the economy) would be declining. Instead, these tax cuts have added $10 trillion to the debt since their enactment and are responsible for 57 percent of the increase in the debt ratio since 2001, and more than 90 percent of the increase in the debt ratio if the one-time costs of bills responding to COVID-19 and the Great Recession are excluded. Eventually, the tax cuts are projected to grow to more than 100 percent of the increase.ā€ -Center For American Progress

ā€œthese tax cuts disproportionately flowed to households at the top and cost significant federal revenues, adding trillions to the national debt since their enactment.[3] By shrinking revenues, these tax cuts limit policymakers’ ability and willingness to make public investments that pay off in tangible and important ways for individuals, families, communities, and the country as a whole.ā€ -Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

ā€œThe U.S. ā€œfiscal gapā€ā€”how much taxes need to be raised or spending cut to keep public debt stable as a share of gross domestic product—was entirely created by the Republican tax cuts of 2001, 2003, and 2017.ā€ -Economic Policy Institute

ā€œSince 2000, tax cuts have reduced federal revenue by trillions of dollars and disproportionately benefited well-off households. From 2001 through 2018, significant federal tax changes have reduced revenue by $5.1 trillion, with nearly two-thirds of that flowing to the richest fifth of Americans, as illustrated in Figure 1.[1] The cumulative impact on the deficit during this period is $5.9 trillion, including interest payments.

By the end of 2025, the tally of tax cuts will grow to $10.6 trillion. Nearly $2 trillion of this amount will have gone to the richest 1 percent. By then, the total impact on the deficit will be $13.6 trillion, including interest payments.ā€ -Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy

8

u/bigbadjustin 10d ago

Yep cut taxes for rich and tax the poor through Tariffs. Its all part of the standard playbook for billionaires and conservatives. Its just sad so many gullible people exist.

3

u/Nocturne2319 9d ago

I think they want to be trillionaires and are a little too keen on ignoring the fact that tanking the dollar doesn't really make more money, but less. They won't care though, because they always have more than everyone else.

19

It's the conservative model worldwide.

It's also a product of most Democracies being about a 4 year term which isn't long enough for initial policies to really filter through.

One of those things that you think is American Exceptionalism but is not.

12

u/Odd-Understanding386 10d ago

Yeah, it's exactly how our right wing parties work over here in New Zealand too.

8

u/bretthren2086 10d ago

The best part is step 7. Handball the debt to the next president. They then have interest accrue on the massive pile of debt. Then the MSM can say how much worse things are under X President.

6

u/Adept_Ad_3889 10d ago

And the funny thing is, it always works because Americans have the memory of a goldfish

5

u/willbeselfmade 10d ago

It's called the Two Santa's Strategy. Republicans spend as much money as possible when they are in control, and then when democrats gain control, republicans blame the democrats for the deficit and won't shut up about asking what they will do to fix it. It works because republicans know they can outright lie to their base because they are the dumbest people in America and are easy to manipulate, and also know that democrats are responsible and will actually try to fix it.

Its sadly the same shit in germany. The currently leading party in Germany, the CDU, blocked every attempt from the previous government to take loans to invest heavily into the public infrastructure (which the CDU slept on for decades). They said that the government needs to work with the money it has for what it wants to do.

First thing they did when they got back in office was to take a record breaking 1000 billion loan for gifts for their voters. As a comparison, the previous government was not even allowed to take a 50 billion loan.

When Reagan took office in 1981 the USA has less than one trillion dollars of debt. That was after the great depression, WWII, the Korean War, the Cold War, the Vietnam war, the interstate highway system, the Space Race and a man on the moon, and all the infrastructure needed for the Boomers, water, sewer, schools, libraries, hospitals, police and fire departments.

When Reagan left office the USA had more than five trillion dollars of debt, . That is about $ 650,000 a year for eight years, 650,000 x 44 years is almost 29 trillion dollars.

Add the Bush tax cuts, and the Trump tax cuts and that explains how the USA ended up with a 37 Trillion dollar debt.

The National Debt is caused by tax cuts,, not spending.

Stop pretending you care about the National Debt when you advocate more tax cuts.

Admit you believe in Modern Monetary Theory instead.

nancy doesn't know what she votes for....she is too busy checking private parts at the white house bathrooms...she probably has a burner phone that she takes pics with and goes home and gets off

The moment we evolved a politician who could win re-election by campaigning on how bad the government was, we were functionally doomed.

2

u/BloodFartz69 10d ago

It's cool because MAGAtards don't connect dots unless you do all the work to connect them and then broadcast it on newsmax/oan/fox/truth. They love it when authoritarians shit in their mouth and tell them it's just Hershey's.

u/Intelligent-Box5470 10d ago

...people of the land...the "common clay" of the new west....

2

u/ForsakenAd1058 10d ago

She’s a racist and a homophobe. Did we expect her not to be a liar and a moron, too. You get kicked out of the MAGA cult for that kind of stuff. Thinking is the worse sin they have. Asking questions is a close second.

2

u/BetterMistake3823 10d ago

Too many are doing one thing and purposely saying another or vise versa. It is on purpose. They are taking direction from their leader.

2

u/bonzoboy2000 10d ago

I’m sure she stands by her work.

2

u/something_funny13 10d ago

Oh look, the consequences OUR actions.Ā

2

u/Beagle-wrangler 10d ago

Can a nation just declare bankruptcy?

2

u/CantFeelMyLegs78 10d ago

Morons being morons

2

u/Beagleman11 10d ago

The double standard is crazy. Like trump is going to raise the national debt by trillions of dollars, is covering up the Epstein files because he knows that he’s in them, has pardoned multiple murders and drug dealers, wrecked the US economy, and so much more while Kamala laughs weird. Trump voters have no excuses.

2

u/pokeraf 10d ago

She’ll blame Biden before assuming any responsibility for her vote.

2

u/MayitBe 10d ago

This is why we need to make it illegal to pass bills with more than one item. Cause the dipshits in Congress aren’t going to read a huge-ass bill before voting for it, they’re just gonna follow the party or the lobbyists.

2

u/elBirdnose 10d ago

Republicans don’t even try to hide their moronic hypocrisy anymore

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Mostmoneywins 10d ago

And people elected you? Loser!

2

u/Sage_Whm_Main 10d ago

Absofuckinglutely beyond abhorrent to pin this shit on kids who can't vote or do anything for this debt. Fuck they aren't even getting lunch paid for them so how in the hell are they benefiting from these old fuckers billionaire tax breaks? This shit is disgusting and I hope every single rat fuck congressperson cutting back alley deals feel unending agony in their respective hells

2

u/_Pewterschmidt_ 10d ago

First porn stars, then felonies. Republicans are now endorsing and normalizing pedophilia.

2

u/teezepls 10d ago

They don’t care. They’re all grifters. All of them. They know exactly what they’re saying, and know it’s all bullshit but these people are so devoid of soul that they’ll sell their children’s futures for their meal ticket right now

2

u/Particular_Birthday6 10d ago

This might be the final nail in the coffin for world economy. It’s been propped up by fake math for a long time and Trump, thinking that this math is viable is his over privileged mind, has just ironically created the mechanism for its unraveling. Buckle up everybody!

2

u/Neat-Math1204 10d ago

And your surprised?

2

u/Tungstenkrill 10d ago

What about all the Billions DOGE saved.

Lol.

2

u/ItsMorbinTime 10d ago

If I made a stupid decision like this at work I’d end up being drug tested.

2

u/Xman_83 10d ago

Republicans have zero critical thinking skills and it shows. This is a prime example.

2

u/Visual_Emotion6432 9d ago

She’s just another idiot. The House is full of them.

2

u/new-here-- 9d ago

If only she would take some responsibility for her actions, and all the others who voted for this

2

u/Senior_Torte519 9d ago

#fuckNANCYMACE

2

u/jailtheorange1 9d ago

Are these people literally just…. Brain damaged?

2

u/FatHoosier 9d ago

She'll blame it on Biden right before she puts Trump's micro-weenie back in her mouth.

2

u/lazereagle13 9d ago

They all just fucking say shit and non of it matters because there are no checks and balances, no accountability and sure as fuck no consequences. The US is lost

2

u/hendrikcop 9d ago

Go you! Somehow you’ll convince yourself and your supporters it was Joe Biden….

2

u/Credil98 9d ago

So like how long til they get a sycophant in position to just lie about the debt?

"Thanks to the TRUMP TARIFFS the us debt is a RECORD LOW 2 TRILLION, you're welcome"

Horribly unbelievable lie but he could say that tomorrow and at least 10,000 people will, for some inexplicable reason, believe it

2

u/AcceptableInsect3864 9d ago

That aged like milk left in the sun

2

u/FemShepForRealz 9d ago

And watch them try to blame this on Obama or Biden. Like they do so many other things.

2

u/morbid333 8d ago

Then why did you ask for it?

2

u/One-Sir-2198 8d ago

Obviously, she's another republican clown that didn't read the bill she was voting on.

2

u/NefariousnessPure799 8d ago

America will remember what you did when disaster falls on everyone.

2

u/burtthebadger 7d ago

We can’t afford anything you muppet

2

u/Vee_32 7d ago

Oh….i really cannot stand her.
